Fire. Love Chester but i think she's as good as him in a different way. I will have be the one who say it. This is why they choose her. She's very special like Chester was.
Everything can't sound like "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora," and I like that about this album. But people latch on to this song because it sounds the most like something off of "Hybrid Theory." People want them to rehash those first 2 albums, which makes no sense for the band. There's some new vibes they haven't touched on before on the album that won't remind you of Linkin Park but just enough on the album to give nostalgia of the Chester era as well. So don't get despondent that there's new sounding stuff. That's what makes this a great album - The new sound with the old sound.
100% I think this album is the perfect bridge (see "Cut the Bridge" for irony) between the new and the old. Tracks like 2F & HitC are the nostalgia tracks, but I'm looking forward to more stuff like Emptiness Machine and Overflow in the future as well. Love this album, love Emily. I'm pretty f*cking happy with LP right now.
The band was originally called Xero and was formed by Shinoda, Delson, and Bourdon after they graduated from Agoura High School in California. They added other members to the band, including: Hahn: DJ and turntables player ave "Phoenix" Farrell: Bassist Mark Wakefield: Vocalist who left in 1998.The band changed their name to Hybrid Theory in 1999 and released an EP. They later added Chester Bennington as the lead singer and became Linkin Park. It amazes me how many individuals dont know the history of the band, but completely complain about that said band .
