I was just going to read the stranger by Albert Camus (I got only 30 pages left)!! This is perfect timing!! I can finish it with your video! Please upload more videos like this! I loce this type of videos so much! thank you for uploading. I love your aesthetic and content so much
@@samdumorris I read that book to! It's one of my favorite. If you doesn't read i think is better you read the the myth of Sisyphus, in that book Camus expain all is philosoph of the absurdism.
i currently have the flu and was desperate for a comforting video to have on while ive been reading (very slowly because my brain is like cotton wool rn) and this is perfect tysm ♡
I keep coming back to this video. it's so atmospheric and calming, the perfect way to make reading feel less lonely, and focusing less difficult. You should totally do something similar but more of a "study with me" type video. i've seen them done before, and haven't found one I love, but I feel like you'd be perfectly suited for it :)) I struggle with focusing on tasks and these type of things make them sooo much easier, so thank u for this!! u are lovely!! Oh, and I have a few current reads, but I read a bit of The Queen's Gambit along with you
I love reading to these videos. They really help me focus better since I have quite a lot of trouble with that, not to mention how the music gives a nice athmosphere. Btw currently reading a certain hunger. :)
this made me grab matthew lewis's the monk which i've been meaning to get a headstart on before the semester starts, and the atmosphere you created was so nice!
It helped me a lot to finish the book I was reading, thank you! I think these types of videos are very good, and your video was one of the ones I focus on the most. The music, the vibe, everything wonderful. THANK YOU VERY MUCH ^^ I'm reading "The fault in Our stars", I'm in love with the book
*current read: nineteen eighty four* _22/03_ - started at pg 136 - read for 12-14 minutes, last at pg 156 _23/03_ - read for 14-16 minutes, last at pg 170 _24/03_ - read for 30-35 minutes, last at pg 208
_27/03_ - read for 16 minutes, last on pg 257 - i have started the third unit rn, and tbh it makes me viscerally uncomfortable to read it - it's absolute pain for some reason, and it's surprising. maybe it has something to do with the impending sense of foreboding?
_5/04_ - update : finished 1984!!!!!! i would give it a 4/5, negative utopia done very well + rich yet simple language. found some strong anti-communist undertones, and i still find the "why" of the party's to not be strong enough of a thread to keep the emtire fabric of their society to be the way they want it to be. i also agree more with aldous huxley's vision of an oppressive regime, but then ive also not read brave new world yet (i cannot find the book 😭) *current read: the first lady (james patterson + brendan dubois)* - started at pg 3 - read for 28 minutes, last at pg 68

I was going to read six of crows buttttt it wasn't what I wanted it to be and I'm not in the mood for it so instead I'm reading pride and prejudice - from the beginning, this will be the first classic I have ever read and annotated fully, I'm very excited.
