    Thank you for sharing and giving great inspiration 🙌💚 Love that you show the supplements and emphasize on the iodine that many vegan forget, plus the iron, vitamin d and b12. It can be hard for many vegans to get enough iron, especially those with small stomachs as small children have, and many females struggle also with iron deficiency when they are in child barring age, so thank you for giving ideas for that 🙏🏼 Love from Johanne, Norway

    Great that you're vegan and have a whole foods plant based diet which is what I focus on because it is healthy but I do supplement my B vitamins, D3 and Seakelp for iodine and calcium and other antioxidants that are in Seakelp. I have seeds in my breakfast every day which gives me my minerals and antioxidants such as Vitamin E and fruits for the vitamin C especially Kiwi and berries. I use my local zero waste store for some products.

    • @EatMoveRest
      @EatMoveRest  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oil is a 100% refined fat, so it’s kind of like white sugar, which is a 100% refined carb. It’s stripped of and void of essential nutrients like fiber and vitamins and minerals. We just find that we get plenty of fat from whole food sources! Oil is also incredibly calorie dense and can be unhealthy and harmful to your arteries!

      It makes you constipated if you take too much in supplements. On the other hand, some women have more difficulty getting it from foods and need to make sure to get enough. The beauty of eating a lot of vegetables and fruit is the vitamin C helps our bodies absorb iron from other foods.

      Hi Lindsey, if your body doesn’t get enough iron you can become anaemic, you will feel tired and sluggish as we need iron in our blood to efficiently carry oxygen around our bodies, so it’s quite important to have a regular source of iron in your diet.

      I would eliminate oil from your diet and pay attention to really fatty foods because those can be tough on your body without a gallbladder, and for blood sugar and digestion as well. Please check out MasteringDiabetes.org ...our friend Robby Barbaro teaches diabetics how to prevent and reverse Type 2 and manage Type 1 with whole plants foods!!

    I'm curious to know as a vegan are you conscious about the amount of packaging you use? It just seems like a lot of plastic to me. No hate just curious.

      They are very conscious about packaging. She had mentioned that bulk sections have been closed down due to COVID, so that’s why they’re having to purchase items with packaging (but they’re trying to reuse it).

    Can you create some baby food videos? I have an 18 month baby who is kind of picky and we are vegan, gluten free. He takes my breastmilk but other than that he eats very little. Can you give some ideas to add nut butter also to baby food?
