Very informative and I do appreciate the free seminars here on TH-cam. However, being in marketing myself, it looks like you would have a lot better video quality considering your company IS the premiere online Photo/Video/Audio company. I've seen better lighting shot with someone's iPhone and no extra video lighting. I realize that it appears to be a small room and there is little room for any equipment, however, it would be a plus for your image if the video quality for these seminars was at least half as good as your product introduction/review videos.
Just a little tip meant to be CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

Very timely as I am off to Thailand next week on vacation. Great information, easily understood and a nice laid back style of presentation. Hope you bring a tour to Australia sometime. Thanks

This is an old video, but one very important thing when you do landscape especially in places like Death Valley and in some areas, is keep in mind when the sun actually rises, and when it will peak over mountains (if applicable, like in some places like Badwater, where you're basically in a low spot). The sun usually doesn't show until about 30-45 minutes AFTER actual (official) sunrise so keep that in mind too. The same is true for sunset. In some places, like Delicate Arch in Arches NP, if you want to get the sun set behind the arch, you actually have to be there about 45 minutes before actual sunset because it goes behind the land formations.

Once you buy a DSLR next step is to aware of the functionality of the camera from the manual. Then learn slowly the photography basics which will help u to shoot better photos . 4 things involved and if you master those you can produce artistic photography. they are time, aperture, exposure , shutter speed. I can betcha you will never learn from any videos from B & H all these basic elements. all talk and BS. Because if they explain and teach you that you will never buy photography books or DVDs from them. Check out Tony northrup's youtube videos and you will learn lot of things for free.

Or, he or she may live in the venue and has been photographing it for years.
