He removed himself , by forming a party to that is opposition of ANC . Who would keep an opposition party leader as a member .? Or it should be allowed because it's Zuma?

My analysis is Zuma is playing his cards very well and he is destabilising the ANC but by bit.
They removed him for blaming him for their failures in the elections, claiming that he will vote for the opposition party which is MK. Constitutionally he is free to vote for any party he wishes to vote for. This is a democratic state.
Before elections they had taken him to court claiming MK is their symbol and now if he voted for the MK how he contravened their party laws?
Zuma is dragging ANC into mediocrity.

@@biko8229 if you want "land" then stop crying about itand just take it. Stand on business! But we all know you're not gonna do that cause most of the land debate is just empty rhetoric with no real sustainable plan to actually get the land and how to deal with the fall out afterwards. Yes, most of private capital and private land are still in the white minority's possession. Where capital and the lack of investment is concerned you can probably thank BBBEE for that cause why would you jump through all these hoops to invest in South Africa when you can invest in much more competitive and less riskier markets abroad even if you are a South African citizen. Cause you feel guilty if you're white? Or you feel obligated if you're black? No! Nobody gives a shit and no one ever had! All REAL people really want are reliable, sustainable jobs, a roof over their heads and the hope that their children will be better off than parents in the future. That's all!!! The ANC is scaring the hoes! The local hoes and the international hoes. That's why investment ka niks! Smh

The interesting thing is that the youth, often called 'born frees,' are increasingly disengaged from traditional politics. Their focus has shifted towards demanding better service delivery and more opportunities. Identity politics no longer dominate their agenda. While South Africa's freedom, achieved with the ANC's help, is valued, it's crucial for the ANC and other parties to pivot from past struggles to creating a brighter future for all South Africans.
Failure to address these priorities can have significant consequences. Persistent service delivery issues and corruption have already led to a decline in the ANC's voter base, particularly in urban areas where voters are more educated and demanding. Municipal failures, often due to political interference, corruption, and lack of skilled staff, result in widespread public dissatisfaction and protests. Without a strategic shift, political parties risk losing support and credibility, leading to more fragmented and unstable governance (TD-SA).
Addressing these issues requires a commitment to appointing qualified staff, ensuring accountability, and focusing on effective governance. By doing so, political parties can restore public confidence and work towards making South Africa a better place for all its citizens.

ANC is a political party. Public servants. In the past they were freedom fighters and political activists. They are not Kings, Queens, Emperors or life-long leaders of anything. Same with any of the rest of the political technocrats in the other political parties. With that said, ethically - with the Zonodo findings alone (because there is more), former president Zuma is fortunate that any organization views his social capital favorably. Could care less about the distraction of the cult version of politics at play off late... Where the personalities of popularists takes the foreground and soap opera like squabbles become more important than plans and execution thereof.

How long will the martyr card work for the MK? They have a leader who is old and their thing seems to be that we are a better ANC version. Their whole raison d'etre is to save the ANC from the Ramaphosa faction. This strategy can have mileage for so long. I have a suspicion that MK will become another Cope ( especially when Zuma becomes even more frail - the man is old). There's another Achilles' heel that the MK party, unfortunately, has - which is the perception that it's a Zulu ethnic-based party. South Africa's political history tells us that such parties fortunately never really farewell in the long term. Let us wait and see if things will be different with MK.
