Pretty sure the damage on Thornmail is pre-mitigated. Even on squishy ADC champs, their innate -armor- magic resist reduces the dmg by like 12-25%. I haven't done any testing, but I feel pretty confident that I've experienced multiple situations that's shown exactly that.

Yeah as the other guy said. Ussualy he proxies as rammus but hard to do here in mid. So he actively trades with. W on to get minion agro and clear waves. If he doesn't do it he would give ekko lots of map pressure since he would get pushed in and lose CS. Of course there is a world where he doesn't did but it isn't easy with rammus in lane if you don't want to have no pressure and no cs
His rammus strategy is just to greed and int till he gets thornmail and dumpsters the enemy laner

You can kill Rammus as an auto attacker, it just takes 4 items, reserving yourself to Merc Treads, and waiting until his W is down unless he's jumping you. Cleaver, LDR, BotRK, and Guinsoo's, then Wit's as last item will melt him like butter. Kindred had the right idea, but the enemy team in general weren't building like there was an enemy Rammus dominating the game.

@@larbi253 Technically the Black Cleaver alone counters it, but to solo him as an ADC, you do need 4 items to counter essentially any number of items on him.
There are plenty of champions who once they get a core item or two are essentially untouchable until everyone's near max build.

I did something similar. Did like 46k in thorn damage. Around 90k in total at the end of the match as full tank rammus.
The secret tek nobody knows about this build is to sell jaksho for riftmaker at full build... as long as someone is either aaing you or you have taunt you are always 100% HP in fights and can heal back instantly. Got to diamond with this so it at least works to a degree

abyssal doesnt give armor and rammus already has really good waveclear without sunfire (which is like 99% of the time built only for the waveclear), so there are just safer and better options

Sunfire is a MUCH better item than Void Stuff on Rammus. Also Rammus wave clear is complete dogshit, you can only clear waves if there are no ally minions around you. Abyssal… probably not good on Rammus but never tried it.
