It was hard to bring the girls together for a complete comeback because of their separate schedules. Even now it was a little difficult because 2 members had acting schedules to go to at some point but they worked hard to go to variety shows together as a group. I'm excited as I've been waiting for them to come back!! But yes all the members are coming back together minus Jessica due to controversy back in 2014. Other than Taeyeon, all the girls have improved vocally and I'm looking forward to their album. You should check out their last release as a group in 2017 called "All Night."
They were always way ahead of their time both vocal and performance wise. Taeyeon's goddess status says it all, she was in her own dimension in her prime

The producer of Into the New World isn’t the producer of Gfriend, they just were merely following the same concept and sound. Rather the producer is Kenzie, a veteran SM songwriter who has helped create a crap ton of hits not just for Girls Generation but also Shinee, F(x), EXO, NCT, and Red Velvet. And actually the MV is *15 years old* but the original was on SM’s old TH-cam channel, sment, most of which’s content was taken down years ago. The version you are watching is a 2011 reupload, which was updated with a remaster earlier this year which included English subs.

There actually is a connection: Source music, G-friends company was started by the guy who managed SNSD in their early days (not manager in the sense of running errands, but directing their carreer over all). I got into kpop late 2019 and I was like into 2 groups only. I did see reactors upload SNSD videos and I heard from twitter that they are one of the most iconic groups but I never had the chance to check them out. The reason ITNW is iconic is because they performed it live, without backing tracks or lipsyncing while dancing a really exhausting dance AND they nailed it. No group since SNSD has ever done a full live debut performance, they either lipsync or sing along with a backing track. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't watch every group's performance. I'm not gonna name groups to avoid conflict, but basically there's really no other girl group that's capable of a live performance like that, except MAMAMOO because they're legit.

9:10 yes, the Big 3 are the tastemakers of kpop. Whatever groups they make, becomes "the trend." Twice is the 3rd gen version of SNSD, which was the first 9 member group. That's why they're often referred to as the nation's girl group, just like SNSD. Before SNSD, there were no 9 member groups. YG was inspired to make a 9 member group called Pink Punk, but it eventually became a 4 member group called Blackpink, which then became the new trend. So JYP made Itzy and SM made Aespa.
If you wonder why they sound so good on Into the New World, supposedly they worked on the song for a year before it was released. Of course, having several incredible vocalists doesn't hurt.
They are more than iconic. they are the nation girl group and kpop legendary girl group who beat everyone both boy and girl group and stayed on top for years still up to now. Into The New World is their debut song (2007). This song has been used during civil rights, women’s rights and during any kind of protest in South Korea! This is also become an LGBT anthem and is played at Seoul Pride. You should definitely check out the into the new world ballad version, it’s super beautiful, but also really sad. It was the first performance after one member(Jessica) left the group and they were crying during the stage.

In 2008 Dream Concert, they experienced the 'BLACK OCEAN', a terrifying moment that every girlgroup scared, they are still not good in popularity, but at their performance there, all of other fans from another groups (nearly 3000 audiences and more) SHUT DOWN their lighsticks and STOPPED CHEERING UP. Usually when a group performs, another fans aside of their own fans keep cheering up to make the concert alive, but this was an upside-down event. It really punched them mentally, but in 2013 same event, they and their fans PAID IT CASHFULLY with superb and legend performance 2. One of girlgroup that endures so many scandals (off stage and in stage), upside-down popularity, problems with agency, but always bounce back very well 3. In the end of 2014, Jessica left the group after problem with agency and won't be allowed to perform again with the group and even the members were prohibited to mention her by agency 4. In the end of 2017, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun left the agency, but still allowed to perform with the group and here it is, comeback on August 5th 5. Their professional bound with their direct Sunbae, Super Junior, was really like big brother - little sister, in stage off stage, it was very strong and touching, something that you can't see it in 3th and 4th gen groups with the fans that often annoyed if their idol seems bound to other idol

I got into kpop late 2019 and I was like into 2 groups only. I did see reactors upload SNSD videos and I heard from twitter that they are one of the most iconic groups but I never had the chance to check them out. Especially since I barely checked any group until I started my channel 😅

I would say half of Hitomi and half of Hyewon in personality

SUNNY / LEE SUN KYU (Lead vocal, dancer) 2:35 8:21 13:20 18:09 a cutie in the group, but later change the image to girl crush 😱, trained the least time among the members before selected, a good MC too, previously a radio broadcaster. Her teammates often annoyed by her aegyo and sometimes lead to 'battle' 😂. Take every aegyo image of IZ*One member and put that to one person, that would be Sunny
4. The reason ITNW is iconic is because they performed it live, without backing tracks or lipsyncing while dancing a really exhausting dance AND they nailed it. No group since SNSD has ever done a full live debut performance, they either lipsync or sing along with a backing track. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't watch every group's performance. I'm not gonna name groups to avoid conflict, but basically there's really no other girl group that's capable of a live performance like that, except MAMAMOO because they're legit.

9:10 yes, the Big 3 are the tastemakers of kpop. Whatever groups they make, becomes "the trend." Twice is the 3rd gen version of SNSD, which was the first 9 member group. That's why they're often referred to as the nation's girl group, just like SNSD. Before SNSD, there were no 9 member groups. YG was inspired to make a 9 member group called Pink Punk, but it eventually became a 4 member group called Blackpink, which then became the new trend. So JYP made Itzy and SM made Aespa.

They are more than iconic. they are the nation girl group and kpop legendary girl group who beat everyone both boy and girl group and stayed on top for years still up to now.
Into The New World is their debut song (2007). This song has been used during civil rights, women’s rights and during any kind of protest in South Korea! This is also become an LGBT anthem and is played at Seoul Pride.
You should definitely check out the into the new world ballad version, it’s super beautiful, but also really sad. It was the first performance after one member(Jessica) left the group and they were crying during the stage.

Some conditions on SNSD
1. In 2008 Dream Concert, they experienced the 'BLACK OCEAN', a terrifying moment that every girlgroup scared, they are still not good in popularity, but at their performance there, all of other fans from another groups (nearly 3000 audiences and more) SHUT DOWN their lighsticks and STOPPED CHEERING UP. Usually when a group performs, another fans aside of their own fans keep cheering up to make the concert alive, but this was an upside-down event. It really punched them mentally, but in 2013 same event, they and their fans PAID IT CASHFULLY with superb and legend performance
2. One of girlgroup that endures so many scandals (off stage and in stage), upside-down popularity, problems with agency, but always bounce back very well
3. In the end of 2014, Jessica left the group after problem with agency and won't be allowed to perform again with the group and even the members were prohibited to mention her by agency
4. In the end of 2017, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun left the agency, but still allowed to perform with the group and here it is, comeback on August 5th
5. Their professional bound with their direct Sunbae, Super Junior, was really like big brother - little sister, in stage off stage, it was very strong and touching, something that you can't see it in 3th and 4th gen groups with the fans that often annoyed if their idol seems bound to other idol
Their journey seems like it was an uphill battle... I'm glad they managed to pull through and become this successful.
