  • The automobile world is screaming for a compact, yet powerful engine, however, today, small gasoline engines are insufficient, and diesel engines are big and heavy. This is why a company called LiquidPiston has developed what looks to be the future of the combustion engine and mobility.
So, what kind of engine is this? And how does it work? Join us as we discuss how this small engine and what it means for the auto industry.

This thermodynamic process is well known since 1984 (or longer?) since my exam paper in the main subject of combustion engines. It ended with a running prototype with elongated decompression. The process was called: Sailiger process with elongated decompression. Paper in german, accessible to University members, or from me. New? I lough my ass off. But for sure a good idea. But nobody had a interest back then. They were stupid in those days. It was a desaster for me.
I wish this project comes to a good end. Maybe I live more some years, to see. Good luck.

      Very good ...
It was no interest ... It was that theyn too less on bloodmoney ...
I developed since 1999 the empathy system which removes psychopaths from office, the placebo technic which uses the effect in meditation without bullshit dextrose pill because it's anyway yourself, 2018 the HHI injector system ... For adopting who run on any car where the distance between piston and Zylinder is sufficient.
The HHI environment system which eat , cool, dehumify, make Drinkwater from it and produce oxygen by that because ZlI use only 20-25% of the 33% origin mix to control the burning process and safety anyway.
2022 the Marin coanda drive which is based on similar bladeless fan Modul like "jetopteras" "flying car" ..
Contracted from the us airforce for drones, one point "three times the thrust if conventional propulsen systems" ... I say hydrodynamic adopted 5 times ... And so any monohulls with any size to run on photovoltaic and windgenerators.
Only with electric generator when no sun and no wind and too less bateriecaoacity.
Here comes such handy .. run with hho ...
The point by a cell which seperaten both gases is primary safety and the possiblity to run the cell under slightly overpressure to guaranty a constant supply to the system .. by engines are both gases compressed to 40 bar and in the burning chamber mixed ... By the origin mix of 66,periodic% hydrogen and 33,periodic% oxygen you have certain abilities like adopting the melting point if any material ... You can melt granite with it! And after Explosion follows a implosion ... Interesting by piston diesel engine with modified gear ... Because selfenlightend under pressure but much earlier then diesel ...
With seoerating by production U can very good control what happens in the burning or explosion process.
And what I get for that all bedude that "ckima", "CO2" blah while 200 spices DND 20 000 people rott each day is that what is to see on my channel.
The difference between me and dll the others is that I trained real martial skills in my youth very tough ... And the placebotechnic ...acupressure, ECT.
All that mess is made ... Never needed when faradei found HHI 200 years ago.
I created the empathy system 1999 to shut all that shit down ...
A hell is to make with proper filter to a heaven.
That time with Psychotest. Since 2016 test if the endocrin system and neurotransmitter why h display not only if empathy or psychopath but the whole bandwich if sensitiv, skills and abilities.
The strongest multiple Empaths with the highest cognitive skills on the highest most powerful positions in the state or world government ...
Empathy are 100% positive constructive motivation to solve shit because they suffer with the victimes.
Such with the highest cognitive skills is able to find for any shit the best solution.
      And psychopaths under control.
Everybody can apply ... The scores count.
For everytesoirt are the necessary abilities, scores, ECT online to check ... Self study or courses ... That's it.
Security begins at first by choosing the person who take the most powerful positions ...
A average if 89% analoge Analytic thinking us easily fooled from jntrligrnt psychopaths ... To ve voted prove in the history of the drmicacy clear very dangerous so how Socrates DND Plato already worked out.
A dudnufic method is needed to seperate here the bad from the good and let the best of the best fo that job ...
These tests are fo far the by far best method ... Not to cheat, no pretending no lies ..
You can or you can not.
      Point...
No 911, no wars, no PLANdemies with tests easily to fake Ruth numbers if zyvkes to fake waves ... End if all that shit ... And murdered real developers.
Basicly is the placebo technic for overcoming that poisrnings which astxnkey Meyer on his way didn't
By the way I don't claim the the Marin cosnda drive is dourcky found by me ...
Even more I study the whole thing I cannot believe that such was found for a damed fan ... Deffinitive not ... And ai would be not surprised when this great idea was found girl water in origin because by air is it far not so easy to build anything from Glasfiber DND epoxy resin ... It really present itselfe for Marin application ... Dooo redundant to build up with second pump which kicks in if the pressure sinks ...
I know natal the Moduls on vertical wings 369 degree to turn on a lift in sgmhadts to deploy and retract and do a child play to service in safety in roughest conditions ...
"Why ships kill the planet more then cars" ...
      This drive ends this ...
Which alter the electrolyte which produce with the iron core the electric magnetic energy schield which protect that planet from cosmic and sun radiation.
The humans go on Snd giving further shit in the real developers ... Which get ignored or murdered ...

  • @PRH123
    @PRH123 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Looks cool, seems viable conceptually. However the same thing could be said for every other revolutionary ICE we've heard about in the past.
They give some clues here it seems about what their issues could be. They highlight the power to weight ratio, but unless i missed it they didnt talk about efficiency or emissions (which was where the wankel has issues).
In stationary power generators, it's running at one power and rpm setting, so you could guess it has issues when operating outside that one sweet spot band, as would be the case in a car or a motorcycle, with constantly changing rpms and power output.
Same with being used as a drone engine, one power setting, and in that case the engine may be destroyed after an hour of use, so reliability and durability aren't needed.
A small light high power disposable engine could have some narrow applications, but not the ones we usually think about, ie motor vehicles.

  • @victorpiedra6742
    @victorpiedra6742 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

It does not have apex seals in the rotor like the Wankel engine, but rather the seals are static in the rotor casing, but are still necessary, although being in the casing would make it easier to inject small amounts of lubrication directly into the apex seal.
The real useful life cycle between maintenance is 1000 hours in the most optimistic cases, which practically rules it out for mass commercial use. The United States Army has shown a lot of interest. They are ideal motors for electricity generators. compact, light and very manageable, as well as perfect for UAVs and unmanned vehicles or surveillance or espionage drones. Just as with airplane or helicopter engines and tanks, there would always be a new (or rebuilt new) unit waiting to replace one that is going for maintenance.

With the apex seals on the housing, they should make them externally accessible so they can swapped out without taking apart the engine. If you can change the seals like you change spark plugs, this engine would have a chance.

The tip seals are swappable in situ... a great advantage plus they are control force fed lubricant so no need to add excess to the fuel mix making it
      a cleaner more economical burn.
They can even insert shells into the combustion chambers to alter the compression ratios.
Its best to go into their own research papers and written accounts. Though ive still seen one describing it as a two stroke cycle when its an extended four stroke cycle.
The seals are actually made from Mazda supplied ones.

@@clivestainlesssteelwomble7665 I understand they are swappable, but are you saying that you can access them without taking apart the engine? Cuz that's what I'm referring too. These are basically a consumable part at the end of the day but the labor costs to change them out are deterring people from rebuilds....with this alternative design, people would treat engines as family members lol....they probably wouldnt do this. Imagine if your typical ford made an engine that you could replace piston rings "in-place"....A. the engines could literally last millions of miles and B. they wouldn't need to sell you the engine, they would just sell you the shell....*"they"* wouldn't do this because then they couldn't control your carbon and they can't make money off of that business model.

Yes adrian they are removable without dismantling the motor ..the seals are held in a cartridge type mount and slide in .. the are held in with a single Alan or torex bolt fixing, from memory. Its best to read some of the more technical papers available on the net.
The biggest diesel version is about a 40…50hp output motor the military unit they are batch producing is a Diesel but only the size of a Melon as shown, still hand held.
These motors tend to run at relatively higher rpm but a simple robust reduction gear ⚙️⚙️ as per electric motors allows you to match the motor to the output required.

I see this being big in the very light and light propeller plane industry, motorcycles, heavy drones, light cars (econo or sports) and other industries where weight is more sensitive. The video is a bit misleading in that they showed jets and heavy vehicles. Saving a few hundred pounds on a main battle tank doesn't mean that much.

Ill have my engine done before them. Might as well scrap that one and all other configurations. Let see, with a 16" by 16" cylinder this technology achives 12-800cc combustions per rotation. Thats right, believe it or not, it produces 9600cc of combustion in a rotation at more the 85% efficiency. Oscillation free, no poston, no valves, a purely rotational combustion turbin converting anything flammable liquid or gas to kinetic or eletric energy. That redefines game change. Will take a second before this technology gets to consumers, im not much into being silenced, not good for well being. The problem has finally been realized. "ForReaL" 2024 will go down in history.

If you want to invest in an engine, you should see this new technology. Everything about this engine sounds like fiction, but it not and it's so simple. Numbers dont lie and physics prove it. If a combustion in a chamber creates an outwards force and there's a movable object blocking its expansion and like a bullet in a gun, if the combustion forces the bullet through the barrel, my technology works. If the bullet stay in the barrel after gasses are violently expanded in the camber behind the bullet, well that would be a need trick. The main reason for disbelieve is that a 16" by 16" toroidal cylinder is capable of 12-800cc combustion per rotation. With no pistons, valves, crank shaft, or other mass energy losses efficiencies pass 85%. So one 800cc detonation unheard of compression ratios. The lowest ratios I was able to accomplish were upper 20s to 1 with proper configurations, 50:1 and up are more realistic. I've had problems finding proper variables to create equations on output. Best I found contain the inefficiency associated with piston engine technology. Those numbers are best left to testing, sometime soon. Should have a marketable device May of this year. All designs are complete, waiting on CAD files to begin manufacturing.

@@jlo13800 there's a way to get electromagnetic differentiation without gas as well as gas but the systems are a little different between each differential. Differential magnetic gears are used to generate more current and electromagnetic power. You need a stationary plate between each moving part and the poles have to be aligned correctly between the stationary conductive plate. For a gas differential well there would no point in having one unless your changing the backward motion directly into forward motion when moving forward. Or you could use it to generate power as you move the gas motor. For gas you don't want the magnet near the combustion but would have to add some distance between the point of combustion and the electromagnet. Unless you were able to put the magnet near the combustion without being effected which would require a cooling system and a strong vacuum insulator chamber.

Remember in the 1950’s we were going to have electricity generation that was so cheap that households would not be metered in its use and we would be driving nuclear powered cars, that never came about of course but the media of the day promoted it endlessly at the time.
Let’s not forget the jet engined car and trains that were another 1950’s media fad.

The vanes that create the compression seals wear out after a few thousand miles and an engine rebuild is required to replace them. Imagine every couple of weeks your car is laid up for 2-3 days having the engine rebuilt costing you $1000s... Meanwhile ICE are getting over 100mpg now. The volvo A40 dies 100mpg.so we are not talking super mini minis but full size family cars.. 😂

By the way , this engine is nothing new at all , it has been tried in the past by research department of Auto group like Isuzu , Renault and others. The Geometry is very awkward and has no major advantage over the Wankel. The possibility that one might be able to design an engine where the seal could be changed without disassembling the engine is the only thing that could be an advantage, even though an engine with such advantage has not been tested ,it only exists in patents.

Even the Wankel engine improved its wear issue with a roler bearing. It did not eliminate the problem, but greatly mitigated it.
The fact that it has many bearings significantly reduces the pressure and wear rates. Also, (and I could be wrong) I suspect it undergoes less heat and pressure stresses, important for the lubrication.

      @brentneves3602 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

This is all promotional bullshit! But none of it actually seems realistic, in the real world...Firstly, how are you going to lubricate this motor, without introducing oil into the combustion chamber? Impossible, it's going to burn oil, like every other rotary out there, as it requires injecting some sort of anti friction medium in the chamber, to prevent housing and rotor, metal on metal contact, which of course, will inevitably, burn and produce carbon deposits, failing emission regulations...Secondly, I've noticed combustion type seals on the fixed housing, rather than the rotating assembly, how do we know that this will seal better than traditional apex seal system on the spinning Rotor, how is that system superior to wear and tear? Nothing is mentioned about this important fundamental, also where are the additional side seals for this new engine design? the engine still has to prevent lateral combustion leaching. Thirdly, adding boast to any rotary style engine, makes it harder on fuel consumption and efficiency, nothing make sense here. This is a redesign of an already problematic principle... I have faith in modern technology, but unless I am missing something here, I can't see this being a fuel efficient, long lasting, clean burning engine.

Great thought for low speed, but maybe not higher speed vehicles.
The constant shock from bumps and potholes could be a big problem for its bearing and tolerances. Electric motors and gearings have to be beefed up to handle the more demanding role.
Another disadvantage is the increased weight of the hub, it's inertia is increased, making road contact (and thus, traction) more challenging.
For low speed applications, powered hub is great. But at speed, powered hubs disadvantages start to overwhelm advantages.
Putting ICE in a powered hub has additional complications like addressing cooling (especially liquid cooling) and routing fuel lines to each hub (possibly exposing to damage and leakage. The flip side is how to add a robust and adequate exhaust system with catalytic converter within a hub that can hold up under a lot of long moment g-loads.
