ただ当時の日本が勝ち進んで決勝トーナメントまで行くほど凄かったので、小学校でもサッカーの話題でいっぱいでした。
トルコに負けた時はショックでしたが、そのトルコがかなりの親日国ゆえ、今思えばインチキ韓国を破って3位に入ったのがよかったですね(笑)
