There is even a big volcano in the middle of the zone which I've skipped. Instead, I've focused on the beauty of Ashenvale and the classic Warsong conflict. I dont like the Caraclysm version....my best memories are from the classic zone. We used to play as a groupd of Nightelves and stalked our prey..."poor horde players" that got into the wrong zone 🙂
I didn't expect to see a new video this morning, thank you :) I never quested in Ashenvale too much, but it's got some of the most classic WoW music ever. Really beautiful.
This brings back so many vivid memories. This zone is where it all started for me. I remember taking the time to explore every inch of Ashenvale before moving on. Man, I miss these days so much. Thank you for creating these.
My first char was a nightelf. Almost all chars i player were nightelf. I just love their race, lore, everything. Heck even when i play another game and have elves as an option i chose them. I just love nature and i love nightelf and their zones.
This music brings me back to when I first started playing WoW. The world has changed so much and I miss this place as it once was a lot. Thank you for this.
One of the most beautiful zones ever created. Going thru here with rain sounds at night with not a care in the world and just getting lost. Absolute bliss.
Bringing back one of the best memories of my younger life 20 years ago.. F*ck times goes fast. Man I still remember buying WoW, installing it on my Pentium4 playing day and night, chips, coke, meeting people, dying during quests, “Go to the cave up north west” finding the cave took you 35minutes before the quest even started.. Probably one of my finest memories is all these players walking and searching the locations of the quests, there were no videos, no guides, nothing, you literally had to ask people in the world where the heck to go, and even if they knew, they would say, go up north and west next 😂. God, great times, I went back for classic, but age caught up with me and the whole setting was different, it was nice to play Vanilla again but not the same by far.
I didn't play WoW too much, never really got hooked enough to grind past a certain point, but it still left a mark on me and I use your lovely videos every day to diminish the stress of work. Thanks a lot for your work, Meisio :)
Thanks Meisio! Can’t thank you enough for these videos. Night Elves and Tauren were always my two favorite races. Maybe it’s something to do with their ties to nature. Night Elves have the most iconic / best music in Vanilla. I don’t believe I leveled in Ashenvale after Cataclysm so some of these tracks are new to me. My first character was a NE rogue… the nostalgia always hits hard in Teldrassil and Ashenvale.
I really love the ambiance and the music of this place.. as usually vanilla zones do, it kicks into the nostalgia factor. Thank You for making and sharing this video! I hope that all is good with You, and that You'll be able to spend some time to rest in the summer. With love, p.
I played for maybe a day or so post-cataclysm, and I ended up in Darkshore. Even then I remember not liking it because I never ran out of mana and I thought it was too easy. If I saw the cataclysm Barrens I think I might have cried lol.
Same here. I played a trial account during wrath and then was able to buy the game when cata came out. Thought Darkshore looked different and then got to Auberdine, only to realize what had happened. T'was a sad day indeed.
While I disliked Cataclysm (and thank you for not showing the destruction, which I found so out-of-place and cringeworthy, honestly), the music & amb of Ashenvale is still beautiful.
------World of Warcraft should've taken the route of full modding and stimulating the player's interaction such as Steam and or maybe a little of Skyrim. Remember that Dota 2 was a idea from in-game Warcraft 3. Counter-Strike from Half Life. Games are always and in constant recycling. I've played an extensive list of WoW development tools. Noggit red, Tabletop Simulator, coding, TaleSpire, GameMaster Tools on Steam, if Blizzard really wants to earn money from invested users and players it should let players create experiences for other players. Open some DEV doors, you know what I mean? TaleSpire is a great example: a great tool, I love it. The problem is, I can't see the reaction of players. ------Imagine developing a city near Stormwind. And then seeing videos of them playing in the city you made. Making items, quest progression, scenarios where certain skills from specific classes are needed, that's true game. That's true passion like when you enter a good raid and you think ''oh this was well made, well done and well thought''. ------I hope I can one day play a official World of Warcraft Map Editor. With tons of details, let me select some Lordaeron Winter with Quel'Thalas props, building list, whole bullshido included. It would be a gaming renaissance.
im fairly certain i was the person who told Alexsensual that he needed to stop stealing your videos for his commentaries and give you the proper credit. he deleted my comment but a day later he did mention you guys spoke about him using your content. even if it wasnt me the timing was uncanny. i dont know how long hes been using your videos but im glad hes giving credit now. ive seen people comment that youre not really "making" anything but the time and effort of the video footage, transitions, and including all the zone tracks with bookmarks says a lot.
Normally, I would not allow my footage to be used in controversy topics. For the simple fact that my videos are for relaxation purposes and I don't want to be associated with anything controverted. But because I don't want to get into more controversy, I just asked him to credit me in all his videos which he made with my footage. But then, even with that, I have people coming onto my channel, telling me I am wrong for wanting credit for my work. And they don't even take the time to understand the effort. Thank you for being on my side.
