OMG, thank you so much for posting this! I have been searching for years looking for the name of the guy who played Jameson. And to find an interview on top of that just out of the blue is frickin awesome! According to Vince (from a tribute segment on the WWE Network) "The Bobby Heenan Show" was cancelled because the contract that USA had with WWF was for two hours of wrestling centered programming. Prime Time (which took up the 1st hour) was just that, but the second hour of TBHS wasn't. I think they should have saved it by formatting it like Prime Time and showing matches in between guests. It's too bad something like that couldn't be done! Long live Bobby Heenan & Jameson!

Check out the 1992 Rumble Royal Bushwhackers vs. Beverlys. The match was the drizzles but Heenan's commentary was awesome. He goes in on Jamieson for the entire match.
My favourite part of it is after Lanny poffo hits him when he yelled “he hitted me” classic 😂😂 he talks about the match in the interview

Fucking hated his character, like hate is a weak word. But I guess he was directed by Vince who thought thats what wrestling fans were.
