It’s got a little bit of a rod problem down there yeah out of eight rods it’s still got maybe four or five connected to the Pistons the other three or four or sticking out of the side of the block for easy access

I just watched a re-run of the Kingswood build (UK). The engine was a replacement standard engine which they fitted the blower to (Tom and Jordan mainly, Aaron giving orders), guessing the blower parts were in stock as they said some parts were in stock already. The source of the motor wasn't really discussed but it came in a crate and seemed to be a direct replacement for the original motor. In the video Richard can't remember where the motor came from or who built it, that's the best I can come up with, could maybe phone Aaron, Richard not me. Still lovin' the Gas Monkey stuff, TV or on here doesn't matter much, hope it continues, longer the better :)

Bonus that mechanic special to the kid. No worries about jealousy among the others employees. He has more than proved his worth and skills he brings to the garage. He makes everyone's jobs in the shop more enjoyable and also secure. The young man is worth more of a bonus than that project golf cart.

Too many people give Richard a hard time on how he was portrayed on F&L. They blame him for running his crew into the ground. It has been told many times that it was Discovery that gave them those insane build times. They also shit on him on their perceived wrong doings to Kaufman. Yet they are still good friends and Kaufman left because of Discovery wanting them to do small builds, the build times, and not the type Kaufman wanted to do.
