4:14 I would say that Unsullied more resemble Janissaries ( elite corps of slaves made up of kidnapped young Christian boys who were forcefully converted to Islam), than Spartans who were not kidnapped as young boys. . . anyway good video :)

Mamlukes fit the description, not Janissaries as the latter were not slaves and had huge political power.
Plus Janissaries were not kidnapped but "given" and had an extremly confortable life.
      Anyway good remark

I think the Targaryen have a lot in common with the Achaemenid dynasty.
Achaemenids used dragon signs just like the Targaryen.
Also incest was very common between the Achaemenid just like the Targaryen. For example Cambyses II married his two sisters.
The Achaemenid were Aryans and based on some legends, the Aryans come from Atlantis which is where Valeria is based on. And the Targaryen also come from Valeria.
The Achaemenid could conquere most of the great civilizations around them except Greece, just like how the Targaryen conquered all kingdoms of Westeros except Dorne. And when the Targaryen fall was close, it was Dorne that sided with the Targaryen, just like how many Greeks sided with the Achaemenid when they were getting defeated by Alexander the great.
Also Cyrus the great, the first Achaemenid king, much like Daenerys Targaryen, used to conquere new lands and free their slaves. However he didn't turn mad at the end like Daenerys.
And by the way, I think Braavos is based on Rhodes.

Propably have a lot in common with the Greek Dynasty of Komnenos.
Their dragons was their ships with Greek Fire aka Wild Fire.
Ancient Valyria at the map looks like Peloponnisos or Macedonia and of course the biggest civilization of all times is Greek as the History .
And by the way friend,Alexander The Great was Greek of course and I believe you know that like the hole World knows that!
Braavos is based on Rhodes Island indeed.(statue of Colossos at the entry of the Port). But their worship was for God Sun and not for Death.

Why don't you make a video about Joan of Arc? To this day I STILL don't know if it was the Church in England or France who burned her. Of course I know how she was used by France but NOT whether France or England actually gave the false evidence against her. Personally I think she is a perfect example of what being a religious fanatic gets you.

Moon Dancer, there was no Church of England at the time. It was a French Bishop who recognized the Treaty of Troy, and thus worked for the legitimate King of France, Henry of England. He claimed jurisdiction based upon being Bishop of the diocese she was captured in, Champagne.

the damascus steel bit was dead wrong

  • @poopsiedoodlesp8506
    @poopsiedoodlesp8506 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

a Damascus steel blade 100% cannot cut through a rifle barrel, steel cannot cut through steel, that's not how metals work. It's like saying a katana can cut through a longsword, a steel blade cannot cut through another steel blade.
