- This episode we tick off a bucket list item. Camping and seeing the Cliffs along the Nullarbor.
Don't listen to the nay-sayers when they say "there's nothing to see along the Nullarbor"
We ended up spending 5 incredible nights and what a experience it was.
Those cliff camps are unreal. You have really opened my eyes up when it comes to the Nallarbor
Thanks Luke, the nullarbor cliffs was a trip highlight. It was such a unique experience on those cliffs, I would do it every chance I could
Boring? Furthest thing from boring. Bloody loved it and definitely checking the cliffs out. Thanks heaps👍
Thanks Michael, it was a trip highlight for us. It is such a unique experience and I can't wait to go back one day.
Always enjoy your family's adventures on and off the road. Especially off. As a photographer I also appreciate the time and effort it takes to capture all this and put it into a package that we can enjoy weekly. Well done team. Lucky Bay will blow you away. Probably one of my highlights visiting SW WA. Looking forward to next week.
Thanks Mac, it is very time consuming but being able to look back when we get back will be fantastic
I have never been on the Nullarbor, thanks, your video has definitely added it to my bucket list!
You guys make it easier for us to make the decision to just go. We love watching your travels. Especially as you go off the beaten track and experience stuff that others rush past.
Great drone footage! What a spot!
Fabulous vistas and so happy for you all enjoying this marvellous trip! All the best re fuel tank and to your long awaited rest! Cheers 💫🐨
A wonderful episode. I have seen a lot of videos of the cliffs, but never one that shows it like you have, highlighting the time scale of evolution, just staggering !!!!. Thanks so much for your efforts and sharing, safe travels, Cheers.
Awesome episode. I sensed some tension at the Nullabor sign!!! Your drone footage in this episode is unreal. You're having such a great family trip. Dirt roads, cliff camping and at an enjoyable speed. Living the dream. Bad luck about your fuel tank.
Great vid guys. Really enjoyed the drone footage showing the beautiful clear blue water with the stark harshness of the cliffs and surrounding land. We haven't been that way yet so really loving following your adventures. Keep up the great work.
Outstanding episode
Another great video. 😎 So many people think the Nullarbor has nothing to offer. You just proved them wrong. Those cliffs were just spectacular and I didn't know about those caves. Yet more locations added to my own "must see" list. Thanks. 🙂 I hope your cracked fuel tank doesn't cause any issues.
Great great video y'all! Really love following your journey across Australia...always wanted to visit the great Down Under! 🤙
good onya guys. Some spectacular vision for my old eyes this week. Safe and happy WA travels and good luck getting the tank fixed.
Thanks mate. We are so lucky to have great Aussies who help out when needed. Finally in WA, only a month late!
Great video and good drone footage
Another great episode, great to see you living your dream
Thanks again Mick. Definitely a bucket list item ticked
Great vids great experience to do with family. Enjoy following you
Best episode yet!! Loved the drone footage so epic
Your drone footage is getting better, we also loved the Nullarbor on our way back from WA. Kick back have a rest at Lucky Bay safe travels.
Cheers mate, the Nullarbor cliffs has definitely been a highlight so far. The fuel tank issue is something out of the blue though
Adding to the bucket list 🪣📃.
This is so good! Wow.
Yeah it was definitely a highlight for us, I absolutely loved camping on those cliffs and would do it again 😀
Great vids guys. We're doing a similar trip next year so loving your episodes.🤙
Amazing great stuff loved the vid
Great aerial shots guys of places I’ve been passed but never had time to explore 👍
Great episode doing awesome job on the Vlogs 👍👍
Good work mate was good to see a different perspective on the bight cheers
great ! Great !
Mate youll love the southcoast! From esperance to margarette river
Yew sick vid guys my fav one so fare keep em coming
Crack looks like it is the bracket not the tank itself so you could reweld the bracket. You may need to remove the tank and clear fuel out first.
Great vid again. Getting better each time. Sensational scenery. BTW, what equipment do you use for your editing? Keep it up and I hope you get that break you need in Lucky. 👍👍
Going great guys
Practicing my drone flying and footage at the moment
Getting the confidence up to fly over those cliffs would be nerve racking
May I ask what drone you have and app to process the footage ?
Hope your planning to tour the southwest where we live
You won’t regret it
Keep these coming
Really enjoying it
Sick drone footage guys! What drone are you using ? Cheers
Most excellent vid I have been watching them from the start of your trip and enjoying all this info.
We are planning similar trip as couple with DMAX 4X4 and Canopy with Rooftop tent.
You mention you are doing this on a Budget but have yet to see any costings or average expenditure on the trip ??
What Drone are you using - I use DGI M2 Pro. - Cheers
Thanks Mark. I was so looking forward to camping on the nullarbor cliffs and it did not disappoint. We had 2 different cliff camps and it was fantastic. A trip highlight for sure
G'day that time-lapse you have with the cooking and night sky is that set up to take a picture every 5 seconds?
It's actually done on the gopro 9 on night laps mod. It's such a great camera for dummy's like me. Point and shoot
who is the half wit that parked right in front of it I wonder.
Are permits to cross state lines a pre-covid thing also? I'm from the U.S., we can cross state lines without having to apply for permits. I'm interested in bringing my rig to Oz to travel/overland
No. Just a COVID requirement at the moment.
ha, $1.90 a litre on the Nullabor. 50c more than that in town now only 2 years later
How long are you guys on the road for
Your worried about not hearing the news for 5 or 6 days?... That will do wonders for your mental well being. I myself haven't listened to or watched it in over 10 years and feel absolutely emancipated.
Yeah it was back when Western Australia would shut the boarder if someone in South Australia sneezed, so we were stressed that we couldn't get into WA and miss the only state we hadn't been to. Cheers for the support 👍
What drone are you using?
i would like waking up in the morning after camping on the edge you know what they say if you are not camping on the edge you are taking up to much space ,hope you dont sleep walk
I just wish you pronounce Fowlers Bay croectly please .
Easy most place around there pet friendly?
On the nullarbor we mostly free camped, so dogs are fine. In the national parks we went to, no dogs.
