David is an absolute gentleman, I love watching his programmes and i had the pleasure of listening to him speaking live in Kilmarnock ,He's so fascinating💚
Great interview, I have great respect for Professor Wilson. He engaged very well with the Milk Carton Kids case and helped publicise the case. David Spencer & Patrick Warren who are still missing sadly, since Boxing Day 1996. He highlighted the fact that because the boys and family are working class, this attitude affected the case in regard to them being classed as run aways, instead of being treated as kidnapped. This greatly affected the case and it was not investigated properly. Paddy & David, ‘Gone but not forgotten’. ❤
Are 2 women per week murdered by their partner in the UK ? Safety should be taught in schools. Always very interesting to listen to David Wilson + crime matters from a wider , sociological viewpoint
@@foxybox123 in England and Wales that is commonly the figure quoted, yes. It’s important to note, though, that’s it’s based ONLY on known data. Many women suffer in silence and that likely includes murder.
If professor David Wilson is in a documentary, I watch it, as I really like him. What a lovely man. I haven't got to the stalking part yet, but I'm sorry for anyone who is the fixation of another. Thanks for this. 🙏
Thanks for the interview, David's reputation extends across the Atlantic :). I absolutely love listening to him. I appreciated getting to know more about him, as well as his experiences, expertise and opinions. As David alluded to, I listen to true crime not for the entertainment, but to try and understand how these narcs/psychopaths work and hopefully notice red flags and avoid these types. Obviously very few narcs or even psychopaths are murderers, but they can still wreak havoc in one's life nonetheless. For future guest ideas...have you heard of Michael Arntfield? He's in London (Canada, not UK), a former cop/detective, now a criminologist, author, professor and founder of a cold case squad at his university which uses civilians in various disciplines to help solve cold cases. He also had a tv show that featured cold cases and using that group to try and solve cases, it's on youtube (I believe it's called something along the lines of To Catch a Killer, Catching a Killer, something like that). He's on various podcasts and does a lot of media, so perhaps might be open to being interviewed.
If someone with a personality disorder is more likely to re-offend, should that not be an argument for Longer sentences and requirements to be considered for parole - Not a reason for sentencing leniency?
Jon Wedger should be recognized for his work! But that wouldn’t mean ish to him. Pay that man! Give him a proper payout. Nah, a paper pusher is the real hero?!

It’s like how they’re all probably ashamed they couldn’t go to Harvard Law so instead they’re scholarship students/work-study, etc. And still scraping to afford a state school?! It’s like people who wear uni hoodies but prob didn’t graduate HS! Self-awareness or lack thereof, anyone?!
