The most effective way to boost voter engagement would be contests where every single ballot cast plays a role in electing representatives to populate a legislative institution? Now imagine a voting system where instead of X against a single candidate, you have to rank candidates (some from the same party!) 1,2,3,4,5 etc and the multiple slate of successful candidates truly reflected the range of preferences expressed by ALL voters. No wasted ballots, a more engaged and informed electorate and an accurate reflection of the political preferences expressed by ALL voters - in other words a big win for democracy and the only losers are organised political parties who have less influence and power to determine WHO is elected! Ranked preferential voting for multi-member constituencies really does exist - it just needs the electorate to demand it - put "FAIR VOTE" into your search engine and see what comes back?

But they did manage one heck of a smear job on Jamie, convincing Folks that she's a gasp - 'communist.' It was just amazing the hit job they did on her! But then of course, anybody who wants to take away a Woman's OWN Bodily Autonomy, is anti-Woman, period!
