Definitely a lot of work, tho most Japanese moms are stay at home wives which is why they can spend this much energy on preparing food, it's a major blessing for the kids but not really possible/realistic for working moms

Lmao my mom made me like this😂 she wakes me up literally every morning when i'm in school holiday and ask me to cook with my sister (but sometimes i cook alone) for one day meal sksksk. It's because she is working in morning. But still, i'm not in her level. She is rlly unreachable😂👍
I'm not trying to say that Japan doesn't raise chickens very well, but many farmers will also feed their hens red pepper seeds so that the yolks have that vibrant color. The yolk *not* being pale matters more than it being so intensely colorful

you should try making one! It’s a lot of fun and really rewarding when you get to eat it. I recommend making some of the stuff the night before, that way you don’t have to wake up super early (o^^o)
