Daydream era tried so hard to lift her range up I think to match Whitney and Celine as they were the top 3 vocalists at the same time then, but we know what happened when she did that, her voice couldn’t handle it with nodules so we got the butterfly tone, which again is very similar to this and MBT. It suggests to me this is her natural tone and range. I’m certain if she would stop trying to push her voice up she would get a lot of her natural stamina and consistency back vocally. Now she tries too hard to sing light instead of with her natural heavy voice. It works against her imo.

bet she can sing whatever she wants now, but it isnt about that, i dont think she could even match the quality. The fullnes of her voice, the weight, the round vowels, the agility (she has gain speed throughout the years but the accuracy her agility had during 90-93 has dropped)
