If you hold off on Cast Off until he clocks up, you can use the cast off to become invincible during the entire duration of Hyper Clock up. Even then, if you're playing as someone without a Cast Off, you can jump right as the Hyper Clock Up kicks in and because it's so slow, you can hold block and at the very least survive with only a few scratches. On hard, the A.I. attacks nonstop, making it easy to guess when he'll clock up. When you fight him as Hercus in the Rider story mode, all you have to do is back into a corner and double jump when his meter is full. Sorry for the long comment by the way, but I wanted to try to help. If this didn't work, I'm sorry.
You need know first combo and next if he use hyper clock up you need defen (first he clock up don't too long take defen position) don't let him combo you if the clock up end you need combo attack him and use clock up more efficient don't waste clock up try fast defeating Caucasus
