Actually it was funny. His questions were surprising to Alidad. There are no stupid Qs there are stupid As. But Alidad handled all with humour and grace.
Such a lovely man and such impeccable taste. An unusual decor which requires a firm knowledge of art and art history to pull off, but an inspiration to all of us.
Love his rendition of reds and flowers. Admire his knowledge of his particular taste and not intimidated by the questions posed by the interviewer who apparently has different tastes. 👏
Don´t mean to be rude, but what a difference it makes when the decorator is actually educated and polite... compared to Ms. Hoppen´s, this was a true delight.
Alidad's home is stunning! He may call it "masculine", but I love it. I dislike pink and frills which women supposedly prefer. If I had a home with separate rooms like this, I too would have rooms which are cozy and womb-like, and other's which are filled with light. I do find the interviewer frustrating, however. He keeps asking silly questions about what is the point of this or that. Does he not understand that the point is Beauty, that great, soothing healer? Beauty need not explain itself.
Who is this interviewer? Rude & insensitive and maybe he thinks he's good interviewer. Anyway Persians have always been cultured and sophisticated and opulent in their designs. I love it. I want my house interiors like this.
Wonderful. And I love the interviewer. He’s so excellent at asking the ordinary questions to which we all want to hear the answers. These little vignettes are master classes in composition and information.
Fabulous house~! I have a canvas and all my paints, accept the canvas is already painted and there's too many paints: I need a blank canvas, so the I can ad as I like my paints. You understand what I mean?
For some reason many brits give themselves permission to talk down to any culture or style that doesn’t go with what they traditionally know. It’s rude and disrespectful and quiet annoying so please stop it!
Wow this interviewer was rude. I was mortified at his behavior and lack of decorum. Thank goodness for the grace of Alidad who’s home is beyond!

maximalist here, and i am in love with this man's taste!
WHAT A LOVELY PERSON. and what a beautiful, personal, deep and soothing home.
Ach, the dining room! That wall treatment, the atmosphere and intelligent use of light, both natural and artificial. Gorgeous. 😍
Dear Alidad your home is a true feast for my soul!
Mr Alidad, your house is exquisetly beautiful I have no words to describe such beauty and atmosphereTHANK YOU FOR SHOWING YOUR HOME
The old school Iraniens are so sophisticated and cultivated, such a wonderful people.
Right point
@Emiko Morein Some friend ! Why would you ?
Agree! I understand totally where you were coming from with this comment.
That man was rude to him. If Alidad's home is depressing, maybe he can visit open concept mega-mansions; that are badly lit, with white & gray walls.
I was about to say the same thing! Very true. You took the words right out of my mouth 😒
This is Fabulous....
CHARMING HOME... LOVELY MAN
Mr. Alidad has exquisite taste and I like his way of thinking. Beautiful home. Thank you for sharing.

Love this little guy,so gentle and charming.
Don´t mean to be rude, but what a difference it makes when the decorator is actually educated and polite... compared to Ms. Hoppen´s, this was a true delight.
Love all the colors. IAM very tired of white wall. Colors make a home happy. He has a lot of class!

Wonderfully said.
Mr Ali dad is a gentleman and his home reflect the love he have for life and beauty ..!!
Wow! House goals!👍🏽❤️
Wonderful...Love this decorator and his beautiful style and design...the interviewer was rude...not the best at all.
Enjoyed so much...The real Iranian
I love the Deco d'ecor, in the corner next to the fireplace.
Your camera needs to step back a little so we actually see the rooms! All the footage is of the damn people, it’s annoying
Love your kingdom, sort of interesting and exploratory home museum
What a lovely man - pales come and give me inspiration for my home

Love listening to him and his taste is the extreme of mine but it works so well.
چقد زیباست!🤩🤩🤩 چه حُسن سلیقه ایی!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love his book.
Such an insensitive, inappropriate interviewer. A thorough embarrassment.
Quite right.
Absolutely! Alidad was gracious tho.
Rich quality, Byzantine Avant Gard. Kudos!

Wow what beautiful displayed here. By the way, it's obvious the interviewer shops at Pottery Barn🥱 .
Wonderful !!!
This reporter is "sine nobilitate" in every word and gesture. Zwykly gdbur.
Fabulous house~!

Rubbish interviewer , silly questions.
I quite agree.

Must have cost a bomb to find artisans to.do the ceiling...
Why is he so stressful... he can afford not to have stress... what's more important to your life... peace or money?
Love his style but ‘his is known for designing for Russian oligarchs’ ?!!!! What an honor 😳😂🤔 !!
Shamelessly delicious...
Love Alidad but this is the 2nd interview I've seen with this guy and he is so rude and unprofessional!!
Love everything but the LEATHER walls...how disgusting it is to cover walls with someone's skin
Thank you!👏👏👏🐮💜
Rich!
Rococo, muy recargado
Masculine taste...............LOL................how very Arab of him to say. .
Iranians are not Arabs.
"masculin" taste "féminin" taste ? .... what kind of old fashioned questions are those ???- This apartment is not refined, is funny but not refined.
