Hiring Lightfoot almost justifies everything that has been done to the people of Dolton. Stupid people deserve to be ripped-off and have the worst things happen to them! Henyard has already said that Lightfoot will not be paid because she considers her investigation to be illegal. But beyond that, Henyard has refused to give documents to federal investigators months ago. So, what makes anyone think that she is going to give Lightfoot documents when she hasn't given those very documents to people with bigger badges than Lightfoot? It's a waste of time and money....Well, not money because apparently Lightfoot is doing this pro bono!
I think she was a horrible mayor but she was actually a federal prosecutor. She'd know what to look for.

I've followed this for a few months now. Im amazed that it's went on this long.
Feds needed a big enough case. You don't go after someone for thousands of dollars, you wait till they rake up millions. Your career goes thru the roof as a prosecutor.
