I'm in the U.S. and I have been listening to Samm since 2015 with the first video of his Mahogany Session singing "Only Wanna Be With You". I knew something was very special about him then and he would have my support as a fan. Thank you for this highlight.
I've been listening to Sam in the US for some time now and he brings such JOY to his music!!! Get Yourself to Church is just PURE, PURE JOY!!!! Love him and I'm 74 and I KNOW he's going to go a long way. The Brits better catch on to him before we just steal him away from you!!!!!!!!!
@Jay London I see this all the time in the U.S. I solely support independent artists. As a fan it's so frustrating because IMO 90% of them are more talented than these mainstream folk. Plus they have to work so much harder just because they are independent and they never seem to get their shine (recognition). So unfair.
@@Monickyey09 Well it's always the tradeoff of being true vs being marketable. Even in pop and rap music which are the hugest genres in the mainstream, the bigger names that you can say are doing both still won't do the consistent numbers of those that sacrifice at least some of their creative freedoms for marketability. It's really sad in a sense because it's a bit of a race to the bottom to get the attention of the lowest common denominator. But it's also good in a sense because you don't need all the attention. People appreciate truth and sincerity, that resonates no matter what shape and sound that takes. And the umbrella of music is definitely big enough for every to speak their truths
I've been listening to Samm everyday for two years, and I do mean everyday. His success is inevitable - the world is better for his music.
