I like to batch my ginger syrup with the gin already therefore it lasts longer. Not that it lasts that long anyway. As Rich says, it's a modern classic and great drink. Come summer or winter, always a winner. Salut!
This is probably the greatest drink ever invented. Having said that, I'm biased (Pete's my brother)Get him to give you the secret of his 'Paradox' shot & put it up on here. It's unreal ;)
Had one of these at Hawksmoor a couple of weeks ago. It's so refreshing, dangerously good. Made it myself but I can never quite get the kind of thick slushy likeness to it, think I need to upgrade the blender it's normally a bit watery when I make it

Oooooh! Now THAT sounds like something we need to pursue!
Goes down a treat with a burger. Cracking cocktail!
Ooo yes Emma, we love your thinking!
or Sesame Ginger kabobs/stir fry... just a thought.
Mmmm - good shout Jesse!
Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube I does mah best! Thanks 🍺🍲
Rich Hunt GOAT

Cheers Elliot!
Loving these beer cocktails!!! Thank you! ❤︎ cheers from my beer tasting throne in Paris ❤︎
Just had this at @hawksmoor Manchester 😱omg best drink ever. Try as hangover cure - the ginger will give you a boost!
But looks a nice drink and well made mate.
Wow. I was not expecting this to be so good. I used a Lagunitas IPA and Gordons.
Sounds like a good combo!
Looks amazing!
It is!

looks cool, but London Pride is not a pale ale?!
Adam Carter I thought that. Of all the thousands of craft-brews in London why Fullers, and why one that's not a pale? Does look delicious though
I've just homebrewed a lot of ginger beer so could I just add some gin to that and call it a day?
Jan Kenk you should! Its amazing 😊
Doesn't sound like a bad idea!
I tried this drink at Hawksmoor and it was delicious ! I won't use the same glass so, how much beer do you recommend ? 100ml ? more ?
About 100ml should do - but you can adjust it to your tastes!
is a pils also going to work?
Sure, any lighter or unfiltered beer works decently. I like a good unfiltered wheat beer or kolsh
Great answer Jesse!
Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube glad it met with approval. These JO channels are superb, and I'm a tinkerer by nature. Especially when it comes to food.
Show fera!
London Pride is NOT a Pale Ale
WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! Look what gin they got on offer. The onlyyyyyy gin in the world fellow drinkstube idiot viewers...it's BOMBAY SAPPHIRE!
Bacardi... altough good vid
(This is a paid ad by Bombay Sapphire)
Looks great, but London Pride? Firstly it isn't a pale ale, secondly, it's shit...
I shall have to try this with another beer though :P
Bombay is overated!
But love the idea with gordon gin👌
Give it a whirl and let us know what you think!
The original was with Beefeater. Works really well with classic london dry styles with citrus notes :)
