Sorry you are wrong about Sam Houston Jones park. The park was named for Sam Houston Jones, former governor of Louisiana who was born near the park in Beauregard Parish and practiced law in Lake Charles. However, he was named in honor of Sam Houston of Texas.
First time I’ve ever heard of a rainbow trout inhabiting the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, with elk in Tickfaw State Park and mountains in the background😂. This guy really has an imagination.
