What a wonderful person Steve is and for both of you to have a place to work without worry of the elements. That rain that came down was incredible. Keely your laugh and expressions are priceless. Wow the work that has been accomplished. So gorgeous.
Y’all are doing great!!!! Totally worth taking the 25mm off… and thank goodness for the kindness of strangers and that you are out of the elements. Y’all bring me so much joy❤❤❤
The "taco between 2 wheel arches", funny! Hang in there Keely, you're doing a great job, if you have to redo things it's okay cause you want it to be right. Keely, are you a nurse as well, great dressing skills with Philly's thumb. Philly, I started looking into what orange juice in the US has in it and found, ethyl butyrate....what! So glad I use oranges and squeeze them myself. I so hope things get easier for you guys as the build continues, it is going to look awesome in the end, I can feel it. Take care you two.....🤗💌✌
From your #1 fan in the USA--this is my #1 favorite vlog on TH-cam so for goodness sakes EAT EAT & EAT 'cause I have never seen anyone and do NOT want to see Keely "disintegrate" before my eyes ;) Love & good vibes to you both!
Yay what a great bed !! Thanks for congratulating me too for my part in it, it was hard work watching... but I helped 🤣 It's a pity you can't support the whole mattress because it'd be good to use the whole space. Wow mathematical drawings and plans, I know you'll make a great result. The sacrifice of food over vanbuilding is so commendable !! Well done you 2 ! ❤🚐
Hi guys 👋 what a great guy making space in his workshop, much better than my idea of a pagoda last week. The bed looks amazing Keely, yes cutting it down was definitely worth it, don't fancy seeing Philly with a shaved head 😂 🐸xx
Omg was worried about u cutting ur finger with the Stanley knife last week and now philly has cut his thumb!! Glad it wasn’t too serious..van is coming along nicely ur both sooo talented and a great team xx

« Massive Thumbs up 👍 » to you guys. I know I’m repeating myself but I’m beyond impressed. Not only you work so well together but you are so resourceful and skilled. I’m amazed 😊 I was convinced the 25 mm difference was worth the effort for all the time you will spend in there, but was happy to see that you could instantly feel the difference. And let’s not forget to mention the generosity of Steven ❤. I mean working inside must be a world of difference. I’m really happy for you guys. I’m convinced it made it a little easier than in a car park.
Hiya 👋🏼!! So glad to be able to spend a little time with you this morning!! The van is coming along nicely! You’re doing everything so professionally! I’m so impressed! I’m happy you decided to invest in a saw. That had to be ROUGH sawing everything by hand 😣!! And Steve! What a generous guy!! Total game changer to be able to work inside AND you have running water and a toilet? WOW! Your fridge is gorgeous! Another game changer! And the 25mil (1/4 inch?)… you’ll be so happy you did that because you’d be somewhere in the outback and it would be in your head wondering why you didn’t when you had the chance. I hope at this point you’ve finished the van build and are on your way? Safe travels from Southern California 🌴
Yes, coffee ☕☕ , and bonus 25 mm extra storage space on top of the bed 👍. Definetly would have done it too. Better ergonomics. Nothing worse than back and/or neck pain, especially on a long trip.
Wow!! Ya'll are amazing!!! "Cant rush perfection!" ....Indeed!!! We had an amazing time in Ireland!! Wish i could share photos. Thats probably not the only time you will benefit from the kindness of the folks there. Love your videos. Love you guys❣️❣️❣️👍😁👍
Good morning Keely and Philly I am so amazed at you guys what luck Steve let you inside pretty soon you’ll be in the outback my husband would have cut everything wrong 🤪get some food love you two stay safe see ya later 😘🌺🌸🌿☕️☕️
I would taken2.5 cm off as well... the many times we had to Redo things because it was perfectly fine but we just wanted it better haha! Well done guys. Had a good laugh as well! 😂
Well done guys your doing a great job and being very entertaining. How friendly are those Aussie’s. Being inside is making such a difference for you. Love the bandage well done nurse Keeley. Have a good week guys. 😊💕
AW Keely the look on your wee face when you were measuring the foam made me say to the screen 'Don't worry it'll be fine' as if you could hear me. Come on Philly double hugs for Keely.
Why is van maths so hard? We had the same problem doing ours! We can both do really complex stuff in our day jobs but van maths blew our minds! Great job guys!
Great work guys, it didn’t look easy but you got there in the end and it’s looking fab! Well done Keely for making it through without food 😂 can’t wait to see your travels through the outback!
You two are great , working really hard to put your home together with lots of humour thrown in ! Love all the sound effects etc on your vlogs and Keely I was wondering if you were hungry as you hadn’t mentioned it for a while 🤣🤣🤣can’t wait to see the finished van and what you get up to next . Philly hope your thumb is ok now ! ❤x
Thanks so much for noticing our video editting 🥰🥰 we put so much love into them so when people notice the little sounds etc it makes our hearts happy ❤️
Would like to clarify something in the video. When you're making the bed, mark 1 version, had Keely eaten???😂😂 Defo would have cut off the 25mm, as not doing it would have bugged me every time I sat on the bench. Hats off to SteveO, what a chap giving you that space, which has running water and a bathroom! Hope the build is nearly finished and Keely's maths brain hasn't exploded 🤣
From Michigan wife and I watch all your videos. Love your accent and things that are called different from what we call here. For example What you call "car park". We call "parking lot" . Anyway, as for the fridge have you considered using a "felt" material rather than cardboard to slide it on? I would be considered about grit between the floor and cardboard scratching up the floor.
Currently watching,at 15+ mins,my heart swelled to see that mechanic being so kind to you. So delighted, you wouldn't find that kindness that level too much. You two aren't idiots, you two are amazing. My god I wish I could make a pull out bed like you both did. Delighted ye re did the height, it did make a difference. Fantastic work. What great progress.
Well done, you’re getting there. Thumbs up to Steve for giving you his workshop space too! How will you get the fridge out - surely it’s not staying in a piece of cardboard? Could you screw drawer runners to it and lift it a couple of mm? It’ll slide in and out much easier? If headroom still an issue, you could go for a thinner head lining?
That was the original plan with the drawer, but those mm for the spine are better used. Philly has created a strap system with some of our spare floor and the black straps it arrived with , so it looks pretty cool now sliding in and out
Looking amazing you two. But I can’t believe it’s taken stevio this long to give you some where to build away from the elements….. well done on getting this far ….. it’s gonna be amazing ❤
Hi ya Philly and Keely a power saw would not have made any difference for me , a couple of swag’s would have been simpler 😂. Melbourne weather , what have you got to learn “Stralian” ? It will be awesome once you start travelling. You take care and stay safe cheers from Qld 🌟🤩🚎🥰🩷🩷
