People when I posted this I just named it "slow playing" the actual songs are a compilation of the Praxis songs "Interworld" and "The New Innocence". Hope this helps.
Why doesn't this video have more views?? This is fantastic, and shows everyone who thinks Buckethead is just a tapping moron or something like that, that he can play with soul
i agree, population is probably his most controlled album too i think (thanks to travis' frequent lead/direction) seriously check out thanatopsis though, the latest "Anatomize" is my favorite i think
i agree with 20aoj he's just stating his opinion, he didn't mean anything by it we all have one. Plus what with everyone always trying to compare great musicians?
@jrcsgtpeppers I didnt notice there was a guy pointing his finger... you know... Buckethead videos are not meant to be watched.... but to be listened to.... who cares about that finger when you can hear Buckethead's music... :P
If you like Pop Override as much as I do, have you checked out Bucket's side project Thanatopsis that recorded it? There are 3 other albums with the same members and sound... They are all sick!! You can buy or sample them on Travis Dickerson's Webpage, check it out
i think its great he has an opinion. However, he either didnt think before he typed or he has not heard enough Eddie Hazel/Buckethead to make such a statement.
buckethead is good at what he does man, ive listened to him for years. But this solo just didnt do it for me, it isnt styled in eddie hazel so i dont know what the description is saying, its just styled in buckethead. he has loads of epic solos on different albums like thanatopsis or electric tears. But this solo didnt fit for me
Why do people keep comparing this to Eddie Hazel. Its not the same chords as Maggot Brain. Eddie had much more feeling. Buckethead is more of a machine. Not like thats a bad thing.
All day, all night. Buckethead will rock your socks off. What an amazing talent.
This is a rare gem, thanks for sharing this awesome clip
I revisit this video every so often, but it is def something to witness IRL.
This is NICE.....Very Soulful!!!!! I luv it....

Eddie was and Buckethead is an amazing guitarist.
Animal Behavior
It is the solo/outro from animal behavior from the album transmutation, Buckethead has extended this live version by a few minutes.
This is so amazing...I don't care who it sounds like. Buckethead fucking kicked ass with this song.
nice solo bucketboy... EDDIE HAZEL LIVES Y'ALL!!!
buck sure can write beautifully
yeah, technically and creatively he always makes me go 'wow'
Animal Behavior... one of his most beautiful songs:)
Damn if this does not sound like Eddie. Damn good shit Buckethead
he plays in this video, animal behavior outro to the solo from earth heals herself from pop overdrive. listen to that song, huge resemblence
:o never seen him playing slowly before:O:O:O
Oops saw where this is off of pop override. Have to give that one another listen. The live version here is way better than the studio.
It's the "Animal Behaviour" solo, extended by a few minutes.
This is basically Eddie's Maggot Brain sound

This is excellent. What is this? Paulsbloodyhand has vids from the same show but this one is new to me.

Yes Jimi would say "What DA FUGG !!!"
If you're gonna be holding up a beer and blocking my view of Buckethead, can it at least be something better than a Miller lite?
those aren't songs.....those are full length albums and most of the songs on them are slow.
Hey Guys, Just Wondering what this song is called? if anyone could let me know it would be much appreciated. peace
That's right.....Hey, and no need to name call, don't take it so personal. It's just dialogue and a difference of opinions. No disrespect intended.
is that a random song right? maybe a cover? because i have never heard it so far......

it sounds like padmasana
well, not all of eddie's solos are funky either. i mean, look at maggot brain and good thought bad thoughts.
Sorry, but not like Eddie Hazel, lacks the FUNK...Good playing buy not the FUNK...You youngsters wouldn't know anything about that.
