- King Charles III has officially been crowned monarch of the United Kingdom - and his coronation was full of memorable moments! From Prince Louis stealing the show to Prince William's father-son moment with King Charles, there were many special highlights from the ceremony. The coronation of King Charles in Westminster Abbey comes almost eight months after he ascended the throne following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Sept. 8.

Prince William’s pledge to The king was so emotional.
The exchange between father and son was excellent. Loved it.
God save the King! The moment between Charles and William was so emotional and beautiful. Catherine, The Princess of Wales looked absolutely stunning. The children did so well.
Gotta give it to Louis. He handled the ceremony without any bathroom or snack breaks at his age. 👏👏👏
He wasn't there during a segment of the crowning. Reportedly( one of the BBC commentators said this, not sure if they were joking), Louis was allowed to leave halfway through with the nanny to watch Ceebeebees and then come back for the rest of the ceremony.

Louis did very well, he just turned five weeks ago. He even knew how to sing 🎵 God Save The King, unlike his uncle H.

I wish the coronation had been like the one from the late Queen. The monarchy is Royalty. It should be gilts and opulence. I wish everyone had worn their tiaras. I still can’t believe that a “mistress” gets to be Queen. Anyways, to all of those who say that the monarchy should be terminated it, this family brings a lot of money to the UK because they are a very special attraction and it brings a lot of tourist.

These earrings were gifted to Diana from Charles for their wedding, Diana will always be William’s, the future king’s mother. She would not be the queen today as she was divorced from Charles, but she would have been there at the coronation to support her son.
