      pointy shoes have that elf effect when they are flat XD it is def not in style right now (I had flat and pointy booties in high school and it was ok, but it also look quite big as I don't have small feet 😉). With higher heel it looks better because your foot is in the angle so it seems smaller

    This is a really neat concept. It’s kinda nice knowing that you could match a heal to an outfit and potentially change to a smaller incline and continue to match to buy some time with less strain on your feet till you get back home. Kinda innovative

    As someone who's purchased these heels, they are quite expensive on the website, but weirdly enough, Pashion themselves has an account on Poshmark, (which is where I got mine from). And the prices were significantly more affordable on Poshmark, and I'm still not sure why (maybe there were small differences, so they couldn't sell them on their actual website).
    But, as for the shoes (I first got the Pashion 1.0 The D'Orsay Coal Leather Block 4 Inch ones in a size 7.5, but found that they were a bit too high and small, so I got the Pashion 1.0 The D'Orsay - Coal Leather Block 3 Inch in a size 8) I think they're known to run a size up as well (or at least some styles). Anywho, they were a bit weird for me, at least when they're flats. I'm sure that if I wore them enough, they would kind of flex in a way where the arch wasn't as prominent, but I mostly wore them as heels, which were nice. But, as they’re so expensive, and I won’t use them as flats, I’m just going to resell them.

    • @kangnixiao7476
      @kangnixiao7476 ปีที่แล้ว +48

      most of the ones on Poshmark seem to be the 1.0 versions. I'm assuming the ones on their website are the new 2.0 versions since the Poshmark descriptions specify that these 1.0 version heels are not compatible with the 2.0.

    Hi Tina! We're so excited that you found us - sorry that you had some trouble with your Pashions, but so glad to see that the directions in our instruction pamphlet helped! We definitely recommend all first-time wearers read that, as well as check out helpful info in our post-purchase emails for a solid start to wearing our convertible heels😊 So happy that you loved the style/look of our shoes, especially the Bootie! Do know that our shoes take about a week’s worth of “break-in” time for our flexible soles to fully flatten as they mold with your feet for ultimate comfort and arch support, as they won't be perfectly flat right out of the box (plus, our Raffia Block Heels do have a tad extra friction with removal that gets easier after the first few twists, we promise!) xx🥰

If you changed your designs I would definitely consider buying.

    I knew about these several years ago and back then, they were much more expensive and the reason I found them was because of my minimalist journey, I was getting rid of a lot of things. I did try extreme minimalism but found a lot of "multipurpose" things to be quite gimmicky and have stuck to the tried and true basic staples. When I was looking at these, my concerns were:
    1. Ease
    2. Durability
    3. Comfort
    As a minimalist, I tend to fix/repair and use/wear things for a long time and I knew these wouldn't be a good candidate for standing wear and tear and I also did notice from pictures that as flats, they weren't flat. I'm happy I didn't purchase them.

  • @poppyfortea
    @poppyfortea ปีที่แล้ว +69

    I have absolutely no interest in shoes this expensive but I do like the idea. I went to have a little nosy on the site to see if you can buy just the heels, and you can! I think that's a great idea. Like you can buy one shoe design and then multiple different heel attachments and have a different shoe every day. It'd be great for travelling if you only had to bring one shoe and then shove random heel attachments around your suitcase where they fit. I always find if I'm travelling to a wedding or something like it that has a few gatherings over several days my bag is mostly just shoes.
    But when they were "flat" they reminded me of those really cheap flats you used to be able to buy that folded up in your handbag, they always looked like garbage when you had to put them on. I haven't seen them in years.
    Also that struggle with the first shoe... I remember several nights out in university where I was almost in tears just trying to unbuckle a normal shoe while very drunk. I imagine I would've broken these very expensive shoes in a rage if I'd had them then.

    It would have made more sense if they converted to a FULL but lower wedge vs. Flats. Most of the styles would work as a lower full wedge, which is just as comfortable as flats tbh.
    Flats are hard, when heels need a hard front to bear the weight.

The sole from heel to flat also takes time to adjust too so it will feel a little odd at first but you'll get used to it once you break them in more. Ooh. I had low hopes after the first pair but the last ones were actually not bad. I wonder how the sole actually wears over time. If they get more comfortable after you've worn them as flats for awhile are they kind of too flattened when you put on the heels? I'd love to see an update.

    • @pashionfootwear
      @pashionfootwear 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there! Our soles are made with materials similar to that of athletic shoes to offer flexibility, support, and buoyant impact absorption. Once Heel Kits and the Stelo™ high heel structure support mechanism are removed, our flexible soles are able to truly flatten out with wear, while still retaining a level of arch support as the flexible soles mold to *your* feet! We'll admit, Pashions may not feel exactly like your typical flats, but our customers find that they love the feel and fit even more than classic flats that tend to fall a little, well, flat! 😊 And once you add back the Stelo and heel they turn right back into heels💓

    Thanks lady for trying these out. It's sad because I would love to try these but I don't think they ironed out the issues fully yet.

    I would definitely have to make sure I had some disposable gloves with me to be able to change the heels over while out (can't always rely on having somewhere to be able to properly wash hands) but for something like weddings they seem like a pretty solid investment! I've literally taken a second pair of shoes with me to be able to change into before for the sake of my feet, so at least this would be less to lug around!

      We find that once you get the hang of converting the shoe you often do not need to even touch the bottom of the shoe and we offer a small bag for the heel kits once removed so they do not touch anything in your bag to wherever you place them! As a product invented by women, this is definitely something we think about! ☺

      @@pashionfootwearYou have an excuse for everything.
      These shoes are a fail.
      You cannot make a heel look like a flat, that’s why they have that elf shoe look, and are wide and don’t fit properly.
      A cobbler would laugh so hard at these shoes.

  • @SammyNoir
    @SammyNoir ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Loved the vid Tina! 😍 What I realised when you converted the shoes into flats is that the heels on flatter heels tend to be a bit further back, maybe why you looked like an elf with the flat boots 😂😂

  • @Shrimpy389
    @Shrimpy389 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Maybe you can use a hair dryer to warm them when initially converting from A heel to a flat. Just to get the shape for a flat.

    I was considering buying these for my wedding - easy transition into flats for dancing! - but ultimately decided they were too pricey for a risky buy. glad to hear I didn't make a mistake. Design wise they just look so clunky and odd. They're definitely out of balance with the heel off.

      We get tons of feedback at brides love our shoes. Once you get used to taking the heel on and off (only a couple tries, ideally pre wedding day) you are ready to go! If you do not love the options you se we have more on our site and launch more seasonally. Hopefully for an occasion in the future you get the chance to try them 💗
