When I was very much into gliding and power, instructing, and tugging, way back 50 years ago in the Stone Age, the notion that we were polluting the atmosphere was never a thing. As an industrial chemist, I knew that CO2 was not a healthy thing. It never occurred to me to do a simple assessment that would have told me that for every unit of weight of fuel burned, I was producing two and a half times the weight of the fuel of CO2-a sobering thought.
I bought a pair of these 'miracle' spectacles which are constantly advertised on TH-cam. I wish I had not bothered., In my opinion they are cheap poorly made plastic rubbish. A complete rip-off.

What’s that thing on the back of the Diamond, just below the vertical stabilizer? Is it a towing connector or maybe a fuel inlet port?

ワー、スーパーディモナ「ダ」！ やはりギアーのカバー（正式名称失念）は外してますね。付けていた方が抵抗減るのでしょうが、ホイル周りの点検できんし、外さないとタイヤに空気入れられないんですよ（今は改良されてるのかな？）。取り外し、取り付けも結構面倒ですしね。
