This Cadillac is the definition of a Sunday driver. Car pooling to church with your friends and elegantly stepping out of the car. Then going to a nice restaurant for Sunday lunch and getting looks from people who are awestruck and some who are scowling with envy.
I swapped a strong running 455 Buick engine into my 1984 Fleetwood. Also I am using a Turbo 350 transmission because the stock TH 200 is too weak. Its really fun to drive. My mechanic mounted a 160 MPH Autometer speedometer to the dashboard. I would like to find out how fast it can go but I get scared when I make it up to about 150 and then I will start slowing down. I love how it sounds. Nothing beats the sound of a American big block V8 engine with 3 inch pipes and the right kind of glasspack mufflers.
Here in Pinellas County Florida you can run across older Cadillacs what's low miles due to the fact that's rr2 Cadillac dealerships and a senior population that has bought these cars when they retire.
Nice car! Those 307 Olds engines were dogs tho. I had one in my '82 Riviera Conv. Reliable, and started at the flick of the key - but it was a gas hog and no oomph off the line. Tops out at about 95.
Hey Anthony. You should have kept the dentistry books. At some point, you could have run specials. "Buy this car today and get a free root canal!" LOL. Love you Brother.
I had a 97 Deville myself, but they are gas guzzlers after all, and mine was bleeding me dry from record high gas prices in B.C , so I reluctantly had to let mine go for a more economic Mazda 3, but I still miss it to this day...
Did someone paint that vinyl roof? It should NEVER be that shiny. It's very clean, but the paint repair was botched badly. With the headliner, bumper fillers, and probably other things replaced, this makes a VERY tempting deal !I'm looking for a d'elegance with a sunroof, but this is a great find! There are those who say the HT4100 was the best engine, and others who say the Olds engine was best. I'm not aware of any reason to choose one over the other.
>larzDJsmith: They offered so many different engines between 80-89 I can understand why opinions differ. I think the best 80's motor was the Carbed 368 which was 1980 only. IMO it wouldn't matter which motor is in it these days because no one in their right mind would use an 80's car as a daily driver-(it's surely a weekend toy at this point). I'd avoid diesels though.
@@TeeroyHammermill I have a '91 Fleetwood coupe 4.9 as a daily driver. While the engine was introduced in '91, it isn't any better on fuel than the 80s cars except perhaps in cruise on the highway at a consistent speed. Mind you, I'm not necessarily in "my right mind" but I don't care as I just want to drive the car I want to drive.
I see you don't know how use the camera on your phone you go by too fast see inside the car real good in the dashboard and gas mileage and plus you too high $8,000 for Cadillac crazy 1500 Eskimo sled
I see you don’t know how to use basic grammar and punctuation. Like me when I shot that video years ago, I’ve advanced my skills since. I hope you can do the same.
Are these cars well protected against rust? In my country, the Netherlands, we probably have the same climate as PA. Lots of rain, sometimes snow and frost. And our municipalities put a lot of salt on the roads in the winter. 5 minutes of snowfall is enough!
All you want is money trying to be people you don't know too much wine on Cadillacs I know somebody who know more than you about Cadillacs and charge people less that's what's up

I like the light paint & dark top. Another Arlington beauty.
What a beautiful automobile! And I love the very classic black on white! I miss my 1984 Coupe deVille!
I just caught myself drooling out of the right side of my mouth on this beautiful car

Nice retirement style ride, for weekend cruises to see the grandchildren style.

Except for the white in color this is a nice car. Maybe one day I'll buy one that's affordable.

I worked for Mitchell Cadillac Olds when this car was new and probably prepped it....
Wow thats cool!

True, but venerable and bullet proof
One thing about these Cadillac's which I've always liked is the car have the logo everywhere on this car inside & out.
A Long Island car. I'm from Long Island. Mitchell Cadillac / Oldsmobile was a dealer in Huntington, Long Island. Mr. Mitchell passed away in 2017.

Awesome Car
Excellent
The only way to travel is Cadillac style. Cadillac, Cadillac, Cadillac style.

larzDJ smith original top. I use a German conditioner/gloss enhancer on my tops. Never painted or dyed.
True
Huh? Do not buy any Brougham unless it had the 5.7. The 4100 is junk, and I own a FWD Fleetwood with it's successor the 4.9 (which is far better).

Long gone! I have a few more Boughams coming on deck soon, stay tuned!
Hey Anthony what do you use to make the vinyl top so shiny??
Back then I used a acrylic vinyl protector. Now I use 303 products
Another beauty contest winner lol...
j'adore
nice
I love it...
In love
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice car to bad it’s not a 5.7
Glenn Crawford the 5.7 is the better motor because it doesn’t fight revs and it runs quietly.
How to the prices
Sold for $7,995
I got 1 for sale...white body/ top red leather inferior lift kit...

It's nice but it is not pretty.
I think it's amazing.... Maybe to much contrast, blue and white may have been nicer.
Blasphemy. This thing is sex on wheels!
