LSU stomped Georgia (who they (Herbsteet) were trying to push in over OU if it was a close game) and right now the last way to keep OU out may be playing out with Ohio State losing to Wisconsin and dropping to ..#4. Time for LSU. We cannot turn over the ball and we need to take every advantage we can at all of their errors, especially on LSU’s offense. LSU had their worst defensive performance of the season against Ole Miss, where they gave up 37 points and 614 yards due to a quick pressure-escaping quarterback. If Jalen Hurts can be at his best and not turn the ball over, we could win.

More accurate deep, and passing will be a much bigger factor in the game, so teams wont key in on a QB who just tucks and runs. "Stats" are a lot different than a consensus 5 star rating from recruiting agencies. Hurts has played some pretty bad ball games. Games have been close because he has performed poorly. The offense will look more like 2016 and 2017.

Hurts was a mediocre Qb, in my opinion. He couldn't pass well and was a huge step down from OU's QBs in that regard. He was a very good scrambler/runner though. I can't believe he made it to the NFL, to be honest.
