Tempo is one of the best title tracks I have ever heard, but it is so hard to choose a favorite because of how good this album is. This is totally in 2nd place overall though, right after Exodus.
Exo is making it so hard to pick a favorite album for me.
I think this album is better than EXODUS tbh but that's just my opinion

I prefer Ex’act overall with The War second. Would put Exodus and DMUMT tied at third and Xoxo last but that’s not saying ANY of them are bad. They’re literally all masterpieces made differently from one another. That being said though this album is still new. It might move up the list for me, who knows!
And don’t get me started on the winter albums. They’re all great

This album was really vocally focused, maybe that's why I liked it A LOT. They played so good with their voices and tried harmonies between members that I would have never thought before. That's why they are who they are.
They always focus on the vocals tho. They never focus on rapping. I guess you mean that they focused more on the vocals than the beat and instrumentals?
@@snsl28500 when did Exo ever treat rap as the most dominant component in their songs except Wolf? They focus on vocals because that's their strongest feat. Why would they divert to something that's unsure. If they want to focus on the rapping, they can just create a sub unit with Chanyeol and Sehun and focus on rapping although they dont have that much of a freedom in lyric writing and beat making.
@@penguin_1293 I never meant it that way, I just gave an example. The op said the reason she liked the album was maybe because it was vocally focused, But all of their albums are that tho.? Some things are not easy to write for people to understand, so maybe I shouldn't have commented

Yeah, I also think they surpassed everyone's expectations, especially after such a good album as The War, and DMUMT is at The War and EXODUS level, but at the same time you can't pick a favorite because each one is so different from the other 😂

YAS. To be honest one of the reason why I love EXO so much is because their vocal and harmonizations. There are EXO songs that has simple instruments but their vocals make it much more better.

People who were disappointed with the ballad in The War is going to love the ballad in this one. Smile On My Face is such an upgrade, and I'm a sucker for vocal songs so this album is now my fave. Oasis is such a good song too, and Marz said it wasn't even supposed to be on the album and he had to push SM to keep it in so he was happy it got kept in there.

It's funny for me that I hated ko ko bop the first time I listened but with Tempo was complete different! I just love every part of Tempo. Buuuuut my favorite song is Gravity, I didn't know I loved retro pop until I listened to that song (and the lyrics are so good toooo) ❤ this album is my favorite one from them just with universe 👌

Tbh, I had to give this album a few listens because for me “the War” was my favorite album, literally every song on that album I liked a lot. So this album was different and I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but, after a few listens and just listening to the album as it is, some songs grew on me, so out of 10 songs excluding the Chinese version, I like 8/10 songs. Bad dream being my fav followed by 24/7, oh la la la and tempo. Top 4 songs for me. Good job EXO 👏🏾😊
