I LOVE the old bones! My little cottage is a 1940 home. The Original outside wall is now the interior bedroom wall. I was debating putting a little plaque on the wall to show it off a bit more, or at least the story behind it.

Don't do it. You'll take a while to recoup your investment. Most people don't work out on vacation especially in an Airbnb. Unless you are high end even then many don't want to go to a gym. They're on vacation.
I appreciate your 2-cents. However, I often have Guests asking where the nearest gym is located? And, a GYM is a searchable house amenity. Don't worry, I do not plan to go crazy.

Thanks to you I do arbitrage for the last 4-5 years and couldn’t be happier 😇 I have now around 23 units and growing … and did 3 full renovations in overall.
After all, I’m not doing AirBnB like you do though, but seasonal rentals, for about 6 to 9 months in average.
Getting started in AirBnB might be my next step, however it sounds like much more work to me 😬
