    I really like the acoustics of the switch and I especially like the design. I think it would be fun to see a minecraft inspired keyboard using these switches where the keycaps mimic the different blocks you encounter as you descend to find diamonds.

      thta would be kinda interesting, your top row is like wood -> grass -> cobblestone etc.

    Thank you for tearing apart the switch. Was super curious about the internals of the switch.

    These look really cool but they seem a bit average otherwise unfortunately. Awesome video :D

    very nice! i feel like these switches could maybe be a bit cheaper though, not sure how much the unique top housing effects the price, and not sure how much the diamond shape actually effects the sound lmao. gl on the trip!

      @TofuTypes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed, they’re unique for their housing alone but not sure if that’s worth the price increase

    Hi! can i know what mic are you using and would you recommend it for sound test ?

    • @TofuTypes
      @TofuTypes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mics I use are the shure sm7b into a apogee symphony desktop interface… very overkill setup for just sound test. The other mic I have is a dji wireless lav. It works alright but needs a little eq.
      As far as recommendation either a decent shotgun mic or a condenser would work!

    • @Justaspendthrift
      @Justaspendthrift ปีที่แล้ว

      Icic Sm7b would be too overkill for my case 😅 Would love something more bugdet friendly and smaller profile. The mic you use for the sound test on your living room desk is the dji wireless? Seems more like what i would want!

    How’s the mx2a switches?

      Was just about to ask the same thing! Would love to see a video on them when Tofu’s back from his trip!

    • @TofuTypes
      @TofuTypes  ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re very similar to nixies with extra steps. Some of my switches had lube in the stem post and caused farting :c not a super big fan

    • @ImOnMy116
      @ImOnMy116 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TofuTypes dang, that's too bad! Hopefully if they're not already doing so, they'll consider offering unlubed versions. At this point, I pretty much never use stock springs, and am going to do some sort of lubing myself, so having to deal with something overlubed to start just makes it worse.
