    The later the geochemical report the better. If you find the annual report that gose with the soil samples it will tell you a lot.
    I've found a spot with lowest numbers 75 ppm and as high as 291.6 ppm, the conclusion was the interesting point as the geo stated it was shallow regolith and believed the anomalies were from the bedrock. Once I converted the UTM coordinates I found the locations to be in the nnw line of historic shafts, there was also reports from prospectors with UTM coordinates of were they found small nuggets.
    I will be heading there in the next month or so

      Thanks WAG for your excellent comment. WOW! that's a real hot-spot you've found. Hope it pans out for you ... You know, I might have 30 hot-spots to follow-up on ... And either I'm a couple of years too late, or I don't find anything ... But it's that one hot-spot that might be what we all want .. A virgin patch in new ground. And how about when you find a solitary nugget, or two, or thee .. and nothing else! OK! Cheers Mate ...

I like your Cagey handle, I was just watching our friend Chris say how he doesn't go out much anymore because his TH-cam fans are giving him too much love. You know, my Honeypot videos were going viral because I had the original video of us discovering this amazing gold deposit, with all the emotion and real life for all the world to see. But my mate complained that he couldn't walk down the street anymore... So hello Albert Einstein! So be it ... Cheers M8 ...

      Hi Wayne, many thanks for your comment and I'm sorry that I'm so slow in replying. I passed Geo 101 but that's about it. Most of the knowledge that I have comes from practical experience. Sometimes you can get too wrapped up in 'the data" ... I left a comment on Tassie Boys about my experience in Tasmania. A mining company had put a track down to a new section of river, we went to see the river and concluded that the river was 'wrong' ie the bedrock wasn't at right angles to the flow. So we hauled our gear upriver to prospect. A year later a new chum punched a hole in the 'wrong' section, hit a layer of clay which had trapped the gold and got 300 ounces. So there! Cheers ...

    could you explain how you got the ppm/ppb as little diamonds onto the map of your area? I would love to apply this information to areas I look in but I'm not sure how to have the higher amounts show like you have them here!

    Nice vid. Were those soil samples parts per million PPM or per billion PPB. Exploration companies seem to vary. Also some give shallow drill results as grams per ton when sampling and PPM when using a dust pan and brush. In any case gold is where you find it but if an exploration company has given us directions then we thank them for it. I am heading back to the east murchison on Sunday.

    • @prospecting101
      @prospecting101  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kathy, thank you for your insightful comment. Well this map was in ppm, but I like ppb as it's easier on the eyes ;-) Plus it sounds better huh - 25 ppb instead of 0.025ppm. And grams per ton is the same as ppm right? But yes, I'm with you, mining companies spend million$ on exploration, and we get it for free! Yippppeee. Good luck Out-There. Cheers ...

    • @prospecting101
      @prospecting101  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Ezy, I appreciate your comments M8 ... Well, you can study your geochem plans and see areas that need to be followed up ... Like we chased a map for years ... And you'd find gold say at 111221112224422211111 .... At the two 4s there would be a patch! Depends on what type of samples they took, and what assaying they did. I met a chap once that was taking LAG samples, just using a small broom and dustpan to get 50 grams in a small packet! So don't be afraid to try anything, especially those results that have a bit of strike to them, like results on one line, then more results on the next line to the north (or south) ... That shows something running on strike in the bedrock ... OK! Cheers ...

    Good information - is this spot still live and you obtained permission so you can relay back to lease holder better information than what they got from drilling cores or was it just surface samples which ive seen they normally di 100s of?

    • @prospecting101
      @prospecting101  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Rainman ;-) Hope you're not flooded out! Thank you for you comment ... Uh ... I'm the leaseholder ... And this info is historic data that I've discovered during my research. But in general, when working a live lease under a 40E permit, you have to relay back to the leaseholder what you've found. I think you saw my vid on the Gifthorse? This work was following up the info from what a 40E permit holder filed with me. So it works both ways, a good system I think.. Cheers M8 ...
