Ukraine Episode - Chapter 7: Nata from ONUKA and This is My City Foundation

There is no shortage of heartbreaking and infuriating stories that are happening in Ukraine every day during the war. But there are also moments of hope and inspiration that have come up in a direct response to the tragedies of this war. Nata from ONUKA introduced us to a group of friends who embody that sense of hope and resilience: they created a fund whose initial intent was to help their friends in Chernihiv during the siege of the city in February and March at the outset of the war called “This is My City”. Since then, This is My City has grown well beyond it’s initial intent and is now serving the whole of Ukraine, from raising funds for military equipment used on the front lines to helping refugees that have fled their homes on the front lines to providing humanitarian aid for countless numbers of Ukrainians.
