    Your logo and transition to “So not A” Secret is very well done.
    I’m an adult learner (2 years) and your analysis really help me appreciate what goes into these works. Thank you.

    With regards to pedaling: a third option would be pedaling the first 2 beats and taking off for the last, since there is a rest. Totally different texture with that too.

    Fico feliz em ver você se aventurando nas obras de Mendelssohn. O repertório solo dele para Piano é muito vasto e lindo. Se possível, tenho até uma sugestão para próxima peça dele.

    Hey, I love your channel! I’ve been really curious to see an analysis on “un sospiro” by Liszt. Seems very complex and really fun to try to understand it, I would love it if you could you do that next!

    When learning this piece, I would suggest first playing all the arpeggios as block chords to get a feel in your hands for all the harmonic changes.

    Very nIce analysis and the melody is singing beautifully in your playing! 🙂
    PS: Do you skip the bottom E of the first arpeggio in bar 10 intentionally? 🎹🎹

    • @SonataSecrets
      @SonataSecrets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hah didn't think anyone would notice that! I did it here because it's exactly the same music as bar 2 where there's no bottom E, and that detail does not feel worth the effort of making the legato harder.

      @@SonataSecrets Hehe, to be honest I only noticed it because while reading along the sheet music I saw there's a bigger "disconnect" here in bar 10 (compared to bar 2) and checked how exactly you played it 🙂I'd say it's a very neat subtle cheat, that's pretty much inaudible. If I were to play the piece some day (I haven't yet) I'd probably also skip that note 🙂
      Keep up the great work!

      Do you mean Chopin or Mendelssohn? The Chopin etude has arpeggios that is the same but also very different!
      Mendelssohn Piano concerto I haven't played.
