Oh my goodness, one of the greatest gifts my husband ever gave me was turning me on the Black Adder! It is one of the best shows I've ever watched (although, I refuse to watch season 1 -- LOL).

Back in those days the Robert E Lee river boat had 2 huge smoke stacks and tall strong men were said to look like the Stack on the Robert E Lee....which was shortened to Stack of Lee . It was sang in a away to sound like Stagger Lee or Stacker Lee. But the orgins go back to the Robert E Lee river boat that was built in 1866 .

When House came it out it was so weird seeing him play a smart, cynical American, because for a good chunk of his early career he was sooo good at playing absolute blithering idiots. Bertie Wooster in Jeeves and Wooster, his characters in Blackadder, and in his sketch show with Stephen Fry he played a wide assortment of clueless, silly people. Also, in addition to his abilities as a serious actor, a comedic performer, singer, pianist, he's also an author. I read one of his novels a few years back, The Gun Seller, it was like crime/detective fiction with a good sense of humor. He may have written more, not sure. Not sure if there's anything this guy can't do🤔
