Thanks for the video, it really cleared up the distinction between Output and Outcome for me.
It's a shame that the memoji is so shakey; otherwise I can see some potential in it. Until it gets better I wonder if a circular video of yourself in the corner, like @WebDevSimplified or @KevinPowell, would work better.
    Thanks again!

You should look at the Predictive Innovation model. The Outcome or result ( What ) is different & valued differently for each Actor ( Who ). The action ( How ) is also different. The Customer wants the results ( Why ) of using the product. The producer makes a product ( What ) their ( Why ) is to get paid plus a bunch of other desires such as status, security, accomplishment, etc.

The reality is that how customers define value in the outcome is more sophisticated than what you have presented. There are possibly many aspects that customers use to define value that are affected by things like total spend. If I buy a soda for $1 my definition of value may be far simpler than if I am considering one of these ridiculously overpriced new SUV's or a $200M embedded software and HMI spend for the infotainment system in that insanely priced SUV. Although, I don't disagree with your basic premise. Outcomes occur on both sides of the equation, as well as impact.
