I've been getting more and more interested in helicopter catfish lately. Nice to see a 5.5x rehoming upgrade and a fitting name for Toothster.😃

Leerii/micropogon are not swimmers. They sit or hover in one spot most of time.

I called that last week. Pacu will take a bite out of anything when hungry. Fins, wires, air lines..
Right. These bites are nothing new. The pacu have been biting the wallago fins in this tank for years. It had been rare and tolerable but eventually it got tiresome.

@@Fish-Story Yes, I probably would keep them if given the chance. Just because I would take any fish if given the opportunity. However I do believe those Distichodus are in Dungeons and dragons terms "Chaotic evil" while pacu are lawful evil or chaotic neutral.
I am not familiar with the Dragons and Dungeons terms :) but for some reason the word chaotic turned coyotic in my mind :)
How many fish do you think you have? Couple hundred? And how much does it cost a month to take care of all of them? Just wondering you don’t have to answer.
It's more like a thousand if counting all there is. The recurring monthly expenses are $1300 electric plus $300 feed.
