Hey I’m a 52 year old man and I have very bad anxiety I been watching your TH-cam channel and it calms me down. Thank you for that. I live in Manhattan on the lower east side I want to know what’s the best fishing pole to use and reel because I live by the east River I can’t spend much but I have to try because I’m hoping it will calm down my anxiety like when I watch your show
Hearing that my videos calm your anxiety means a lot to me. I also suffer from anxiety so I can 100% relate. Spending time near water really helps relax and make me feel better so I think it can do the same for you. I'm not familiar with the waters up there but I'd think a 7 foot medium to medium/heavy rod with a 4000 sized spinning reel should be just fine for anything you might run into. I'm a fan of Penn reels. If there are any local tackle shops I'd ask them for advice as well. Good luck out there and enjoy the time on the water.
Nice afternoon and evening of fishing! Another great video, thanks for the video and for sharing your experience with us. That guy you promoted your channel to is in for a real treat if he likes surf fishing.
Great video as always dude! Glad to see the naked rigs are working for you. That's all I ever fish these days. Keep it simple and let you bait do its job!
Thanks Brandon! Those naked rigs definitely have been working. Been doing a float up top and naked bottom to give some variety. If they keep hitting naked I'll stop using floats altogether. Tight lines 🤘
i always do best in early morning or last 2 hours of light if it's high tide. i throw out 40 to 50 yards. did real well this march when the water finally warmed up. i only fish for whitting or pompano. i use sand flea's and fish bites. if you can't find sand flea's fish bites works just fine. keep the fish bites in the freezer to keep them fresh.
Man I got to get out there it has seemed like with water temp at 66 might not be great fishing but guess I was wrong. Did you catch most of those between shore and 1st sandbar or did you fish any over the bar? Thanks for video
Bite has been pretty good. I think we are going to have a great pompano season. I caught the 2 black drum before the bar and the rest were just past the breakers on the back side of the bar. Hope you get out there soon and catch a pile of fish!
I’ll be in ft. Walton in May to fish. Can’t wait.
Awesome! May is an excellent month for surf fishing. Have a great trip!

Great video. When you go out hoping for 1 fish and you have a day like that. So many fish in a short time.

What is a good economical filet knife/set
I'm a fan of Dexter knives. Super sharp and don't hurt the wallet.
Apparently catfish can fly lol
lol
🤣 I laughed when I saw that while editing. Had no time for that cat when a rod is getting hammered.
