    HOLD UP GUYS!
Now before some of you go sleep, here's a video I hope you'll enjoy showcasing the beauty of the Samoan #taualuga and the Tongan #tauolunga ❤
This is NOT a "who does it better" video, but a look at how beautiful both performances are. Excuse the commentary during the video, I know the video commentary does not really match up with the other, but the main thing I wanted to draw your attention to was the gracefulness and beauty of both dancers.
Besides obvious differences like the se'e and mo'emo'e for the Samoan taualuga from its Tongan counterpart, I've learnt from many Tongan colleagues of mine (other Tongans may have a different opinion to this) that the dancer dances and portrays her actions to the words of the song, whereas in the Samoan taualuga that is not the case. The taupou/manaia/alii...etc does NOT dance to the words of the song (like how we should when it is a mauluulu).
Oh well, I hope you enjoy the video as much as I do. The Samoan group in the video are the infamous Ausiva a Faiaoga - a group who needs no introduction, and I added one of their tracks to the end of the video where the audio cuts off - so be careful in case you're wearing headphones whilst listening to this and it blows your ears hehe
Alrighty then, TAG, COMMENT & SHARE if you like it 🙂
