    Love your video. We are looking into renting a house at Mismaloya Beach, and your video confirmed it will be the perfect location for our group in Spring, 2023.

      Thanks for letting me know, Heather, you are very kind and I hope you'll have a great trip. Don't forget to visit Boca de Tomatlán a little further south along the highway. And go a lot into PV for great food and fun. 👍

    What a beautiful area! Well done!! We are staying at Barcelo in a couple months..I have been to PV a few times and always wanted to stay in one of these little coves south of the big city, away from the crowds. This is so charming.. you just turned up the anticipation level for me!!!

      And thank you so much for not using annoying music as a soundtrack, just the sound of the waves, aaahhhhh!!

      @@eaburl sometimes I use a bit of music when the normal sounds are annoying. I had a noisy gimbal for some time, so music was a better idea. Sometimes I add some subtle music to fill in a bit too, sorry that's annoying... Greetings and thanks for your comments.

      @@PuertoVallartaVideos How you felt you were actually there and very carefully guided tour. Great historical information. Help tie in some of the articles that I had read on your website. Thought it was clear and unpretentious. I am definitely going to go now.

      @@sirenanathalie thank you Nathalie, for taking the time to help me, you are very kind! Unpretentious... glad it wasn't the other way round, that would have been embarrassing 😉 (BTW, I was there and shot the video, but I have to do the voiceover afterwards anyway, though I do mumble around when making the videos, that's normally not useful 😄.)

    I'm going next weekend.
    Where is the best beach to see the sunset ?

    • @PuertoVallartaVideos
      @PuertoVallartaVideos  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. I think in the northern beaches, the beaches north of Marina Vallarta. At this time of year, the sun sets on the southern part of the Bay. So I think the further north you are, the better you'll have a chance of seeing the sun set in the sea. Maybe there's a chance to see the sun set in the sea on Playa de Oro in the Hotel Zone, but I am not sure.

      @@PuertoVallartaVideos I make it one of my main reasons.
      If I go to Baja I wake up early to catch the Sunrise.
      If I go in the Pacific side of Mexico, I catch the sunset.
      Thanks for your info

    Nice video. Is it safe to hire the fisherman at that beach to take you to los arcos?

    • @PuertoVallartaVideos
      @PuertoVallartaVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your kind words. Never done that. In any case, Mismaloya is a small town and people are noble and trustworthy, it's cities that foster predators. I wouldn't worry going out with any hardworking fisherman, here and anywhere in the world.
      As Genesis says in The Chamber of 32 doors:
      I'd rather trust a countryman than a townman
      You can judge by his eyes, take a look if you can
      He'll smile through his guard, survival trains hard
      I'd rather trust a man who works with his hands
      He looks at you once, you know he understands
      Don't need any shield, when you're out in the field
      😉
