Building a Smurf House FROM START TO FINISH with Luxon Bushcraft

- Hello everyone!
While building my shelter, I realized that I was building something that I had dreamed of as a child. I didn't have to think much as if the details were planned long ago. I especially enjoy building fairytale houses in the forest.
This video will show how I built a smurf house in the wild with a fireplace inside from natural materials. Wood and mud were used to build the house, and the hearth and chimney were built of stone and clay.
I will also show you how I arranged the interior of the shelter.
I make wall coverings from reeds that I found by the nearby river. Then I made a wooden floor from dead trees. I coat the outer walls with mud in two layers, to get a smooth surface.
In front of the house, I place stone pebbles and grout them with moss. I paint the walls with lime as our ancestors used to do. You will also see how I made a table and a bench near the house and cooked a rabbit in a clay pot.

I enjoy watching you build any style of home and this fairytale cottage was enchanting. The woodland bedecked with blue flowers made it magical. I'm sure you were visited by all the "Little Folk" as you and your sweet dog slept.

Classic wattle and daub construction. A style that's been around for thousands of years simply because it works, and works well. Glad to hear the house (except for the chimney) is still standing, just proves your construction skills are top-notch. Hello. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦. I'm so glad i found your channel and I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now. I'm not sure if this comment will make sense to you or anyone else but here it goes. I've always watched the world closely but in recent years, I feel anxious, afraid or angry. Definitely disappointed in our sell-out and corrupted journalists, politicians and corporate leaders. I was talking with my nephew (electrician, firefighter and survivalist) and said that we cant just get onto a boat and run to a new world. We talked about possible scenerios and solutions. Instead of worrying and feeling hopeless, here are guys figuring out what they can do as long as it is in their hands to do it. Then, YT suggested your video of the stone cottage so i watched one and was hooked. I watched your entire series, and then watched it all over again--loved every minute. Now i am watching your other videos and simply amazed. I agree with all the other comments from people who note your incredible skills, talent and style. However, for me, you also show through your work something real. Its true and honest. I think your work is the most believable thing I have seen on any news network, YT channel, or any other social media. Thank you!

This channel is already my favorite. In most such videos, the sound is obnoxiously loud, or people talk all the time. Everything here is wonderful, cozy and soothing. From the outside, everything looks very easy, but I'm sure it's not. I already have the desire in the future, apart from going camping, to build a similar little house.

Good old wattle and daub construction, making good shelters since the bronze or maybe even the stone age!
But real daub is made with horse poop. I would not want to use dog poop though and no horses seemed available.
😂 I would skip it! I have a hypersensitive sense of smell

Очень понравилось ваша избушка.
Дало воспоминание бабушки, после ВОВ,временная избушка с З/Украины.
Внутри у неё была печка лежанка,пол глина с соломой и смазана коровьим навозом(подсыпаным соломой для просушки).
Рядом построенная уличная печурка.
Моих глазах до сих пор видимой бабушки кочерга с чугунком отварной мундир картошка.
Ставила на стол,а рядом кувшин с молоком,ф/кружки и д/ложки, сметана,круглый хлеб,огурцы,помидоры,з/лук.
Приезжала на летние каникулы.
Поле голубое(лен),лес(грибы,ягодка черника,земляника),речка и передвижной д/мост,лодки с веслами.
