A trick that competitive eaters use to eat a lot of the same kind of food is to eat something with a different flavour profile as a side.
For example: eat a pickle if you’re getting sick of donuts - you’ll reset your appetite so to speak.
Fast food restaurants use this trick too; hence why there’s always a super sweet drink to balance out a salty/savoury meal.

I agree on the regular donut with the chocolate glaze. There's not much to it in taste. The confetti looking one seems meh too. You can't go wrong with a classic glazed donut!!
