Another goof about the card discussed at 17:33. Since there is an ampersand in the slash between upper half and lower half of the card you can move the Beadle to a Red Guild AND move a Liveryman to the plantation. In this video this is the only card shown with the ampersand, all other cards only show the slash, so that will be the upper half OR the lower half.
27:45 this was a purple card not a red card. oops! Great to see this game finally. It sold out real quick at the UKGE this weekend and is already showing its pedigree. Top work from Tony Boydell and thanks for showing us the game Richard! Rick.
Hey Ricky... That was a purple card but he used it for it's power of moving one Liveryman to any unresolved tile, so he can use the card to move a liveryman to the red guild and since the power is free he doesn't have to discard any extra cards
Just saw a review for Guilds of London: Wards of London. It looks like it reduces that take that and adds a player's own ward that they don't have to compete over. Have you seen/tried this expansion?

I worked very near to the Town Hall in the City of London and there hall had a real, proper guild to my surprise.
I would love if TMG sold a new deck of cards for this game with proper txt instead of the crazy iconography...
