I think the best part of this guide is explaining the combo, and the sequence of active items you activate. It's one thing to know what items work well for the hero. I think it's more important to know how the heroes kit works, and how to effectively utilitize it. This was also easy to consume being under 10 minutes. A very helpful guide!
I like this 8 minute build idea. A lot of videos are pretty long form and more of a comment on gameplay. Definitely helpful but harder to digest when I pull a hero to play that I wasn't expecting or prepared for 😅
dude my first ever match with Warden went AMAZING thanks to your guide!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it as I won my lane against grey talon I started to feel the power. The soul lead, the lane presence the items.. it just all made sense to me. Thank you for making this build. I 1v1'd a decent Abrams and because of decay-- i think I won that fight. he started to run, fleet foot, slowing hex and #3 skill. dead.
oh and btw, i loosely followed it-- not exactly to the T I just used whatever was in front of me and situationally chose the items that the game called for
Awesome build! I just finished a 31/6/25 game using it, but I made a few small tweaks - I swapped out "Active Reload" for "Titanic Magazine" and also picked up "Slowing Bullets." I seriously underestimated this character before, but now I realize that in the right hands and with the right build - he is an absolute killing machine. Thanks!
I've tried Warden a few times but still have had a hard time understanding how to play him, so this guide is really helpful! My only feedback is to do the hero summary at the start. Thanks again!
Quite like Majestic Leap to get into the fight with the Ult. Start the jump and begin the ult while you are flying to be in a much stronger position and most of the prep-time for the Ult is done while still moving.
Warden's maxed out shield and 3 have extremely high spirit scaling ratios, so the boundless spirit item tree could be in the optional category as a heavy spirit damage comp counter.
Was just thinking about Warden before I saw this video. My ideas were to go a knockdown build with something like: extra charge, qsr, mystic/extended reach, majestic leap, and then maybe kevlar or something for lategame, along with enduring speed superior stamina and knockdown to knockdown for guaranteed anchors. pristine emblem, etc. Not sure, didn't try it yet, and have only played a couple warden games, but those were my ideas
You are one of, if not my favorite deadlock creator. Just wish you made more content on the characters I actually play. Warden and Geist are very underwhelming currently.
@@eskie-gaming personally been an infernus main and I feel a nerf coming soon for him. Other characters I like are Yamato, pocket, and wraith. They are all cool in their own way but those are most fun for me.
I’d imagine because the invis from Veil Walker is very strong because it lets you get really close before initiating and having those items gives lots of extra value in combination with it
Ya it's definitely because the barriers synergize with Veil Walker. Also Willpower gives you a lot of spirit shield and having the barriers gives you stats when the shields are active
Didn't expect to be getting Warden build guides from Kelvin but here we are

Just ended a game in 25min and went 12-0 with this build. It was super fun, definitely will be playing more of it for a while. Thanks for sharing!
It's criminal that you don't have 10k subscribers yet. Your content is amazing!
He'll get there as the game continues to grow. As long as he stays consistent with the quality content, the growth will come.

Ya the spirit, majestic leap, ultimate Warden build is pretty fun right now

You can actually trigger Majestic Leap and use your ultimate in the air which would be cool

I really appreciate that. I'm definitely trying to make content about the entire roster. What characters do you play?

i always have so much trouble with remembering to activate my items :L its like 4 extra keybinds i need for ability slots
It took me a lot of hours to remember to use all my actives. It's definitely hard at first
Can I ask why you went with barriers instead of armour?
