Wow I really cried with you, I am absolutely in love with this song. Indeed it does not have many views, unfortunately that happens often with Japanese releases but also we EXO-Ls are notoriously very lazy streamers. Many will only listen to the songs on Spotify, iTunes, Melon or other Korean streaming platforms. Also since this was a Japanese release it was only promoted by the Japanese media channel and not the official EXO one (so it really did not reach the entire fandom) and there were no Korean music shows appearances or any interviews at all. Once Chen released the album he held concerts exclusively in Japan and overall it was a successful comeback. PS. Also side note SM is notoriously terrible at promoting EXO by giving them the short end of the stick every single time cause they know EXO-LS will support them either way. Cream Soda, one of their most anticipated albums only got 4 days of promotions and was still the most successful release from the company this year. While other groups got many music show appearances, ads on yt that boosted the mv views by a huge percentage, dozens of tiktok collabs, numerous interviews throughout the entire year, show cases for their albums, got to promote b-sides as well, appeared on festivals as a group or even had concerts. The difference in handling the groups is really obvious, EXO did not even participate on the smtown concert even though they just had a comeback. They were not even supposed to get Season's Greetings this year until the fandom trended hashtags and then they rushed to produce a minimum effort minimalistic one that sold more copies in one day compared to the other groups whose preorders started a month ago.
