I'll add as well, Manuel is from a band called Unprocessed, also an absolute psycho on the guitar obviously. Man ran into some controversy where he was accused of faking his songs on Insta because his hand glitched unnaturally on his percussive picking sequences which made people think he was speeding his footage up. He had to get a higher res camera which could actually keep up with his speed to prove he's legit. Insane insane dude, I reacted about the same as you did when I heard his take on this collab, my fave one here hands down.

I'd highly recommend Charles Berthoud. He is possibly the best bassist I've ever heard. Would recommend his 'I found the most Evil tuning', 'When you only have 60 seconds to audition for system fo a down', and 'When they say you have too many frets' videos.
Manuel Fernandes is using tapped harmonics. If you tap the note exactly twelve frets up from whatever fret you're holding it does a harmonic ring of that note. He just uses chords the whole time he's doing it and proving to me that I should give up guitar.

You need to react to Michael Angell Batio. He is one of the fastest players there is. You will never see anyone shred as fast as he does. Please watch no boundaries it will blow your mind the technical ability he has. He can play left handed as fast as he does right handed. Truly one of the be shredders the world has ever seen

I never heard that about reverse headstocks. It could actually be true. I own two guitars, both Ibanez. One has a normal headstock the other is reverse. I play them both equally, but enjoy the tone from the reverse headstock one more. No idea why, but you could be right, better low end response.
I’m no scientist by any stretch of the word, but longer strings vibrate longer, right? And produce larger waves than shorter strings… There’s gotta be some relation in there between the two… I’m just not smart enough to know for sure haha but that definitely sounds right! 🤘🏼
