A rare sight of how duels SHOULD be played...I miss the good old days when both sides could bring full use of their decks because duels lasted longer than 3 turns. Where a single draw could truly make all the difference.

I get the feeling were gonna get harpie support soon, Konami has been pretty consistent releasing support for legacy archetypes. I mean just look at how strong Yubel is now. From unplayable to tier 1 instantly.
I almost had a heart attack when I saw how he played. I'm not gonna judge the duel itself, maybe the Harpie player would have still won, but bro... Just 1 tower and no interruptions?! Summoning the wrong monsters, butchering the lines and activating effects at random?!
@@Hi-bp2mv Doubt it. Ultimate Falcon wipes out 1k life points every turn and attack points. Rebellion has 5 materials so it can attack twice if you release 3 of them to gain Arsenal Falcon's effect from the graveyard
@@Sinodev Sorry, I don't get what you doubt... That the raidraptor player played bad? I made no other statements 😅 If you mean that the Harpie player could win, I wasn't making a statement. Just that I can't say anything about the outcome of the duel apart from the fact that the raidraptor player played an awful game. (I am quite convinced the Harpie player is not likely to win against a good raidraptor player though.)

It's funny how balanced the Harpies are despite their gimmick being swarming (Which is a widespread problem in this game) and designed to destroy any back row. The only issue with them is they don't have crazy attack, but that's the point in a good deck, it NEEDS a weakness or have something that can blow up in its face. (Like Witch's Strike could end this deck here)
well, there are 2 ways, you either uses Utopia or you snipe their HP, from the looks at it, this guy run a 100% pure harpie, so Utopia isnt an option, which means sniping is the way to go. one good thing about harpie is, a lot of people have no idea what that deck do which means, a lot of people will get caught off guard.
@@Meestordandan it really depend on the meta, in the current meta, almost every meta deck run Yubel, so that is just free 4k damage, in other they'll just Goddess or Kaiju it, in most meta deck, they'll focus on prevention, which means the rapidraptor player wont even able to set up to begin with.
That RR player was a terrible pilot, this video wasn't the harpie player overwhelming the RR one as the title might suggest, but rather the RR player embarassing themselves and poorly representing the deck
@@Atem yes, the player might also be learning, which is all the more reason to NOT be featured in such a video. Also in these types of videos, the point is usually to see a full meta board or annoying strategy be broken by an underdog, well...RR is rouge at best, and even more so one whose full potential wasn't even shown. We've all overcome plenty of interesting board states, but it doesn't hit the same way knowing that...the opponent just made some massive non-forced misplays that opened the way towards an...unsatisfactory win

I got really triggered when he did that, and let's not forget the Noir Lanius level increase, he deserved to lose. Yeah, maybe he was new to the deck, but you don't mix lvl 3 and 4 that badly
Back in Duel Links that synchro harpy was really annoying when it was released. Once the common staples currently in master duel become available in duel links, beginners will have a hard time playing there as well
Play a Floo deck with a Harpie engine. I played it vs full power Tear Ishizu and got to Diamond 1. I kinda wanna build it again to see how it plays with new tech cards.
As a raidraptor user I’ve been using this deck for a while got me to diamond 1 before the season ended and I could hit master this guy didn’t play the deck correctly when he XYZ summoned arsenial falcons he should have summoned tribute lanius dumped mimicry search roost link summon then have arsenal falcon special summon into ultimate falcon would have used the link to special summon raisers wing then xyz into the rank 4 xyz monster that search would have gotten rank up magic arsenial force off the effect and searched for the trap that negate set the trap end board during main phase when board gets set up and opponent have enough monsters (use the negate on the field spell to prevent it from popping back row) XYZ summon raid raptor rebellious ultimate falcon blow up the field burn for damage (if enough monsters on the field with over 2k attack) and if that didn’t work then harpies would go on the defense end turn and on your turn activate ultimate falcon to prevent player from activating cards and attack for game
You adaptability is insane tbh probably because you understand the cards i can’t brain it lol probably why i lost rank platinum into gold for some reason for not playing for a few weeks or so

RR player goofed, he shoulda used heel eagle and arsenal for wise and then summoned ultimate falcon. He didn't even use noir lanius, which he could've targeted heel as a level 3 to get a level 4 out as a possible combo extender. Most likely strangle lanius to summon and XYZ with mimicry to summon force strix, force strix to detach mimicry for anything he hasn't used, mimicry grave effect to search roost. Roost effect to recycle and draw. Use Rise rank up magic raidraptor force to summon Rising rebellion with brave strix as one of it's materials to make it BIG bird. Then Roost's 1st effect to search Glorious bright for an additional negate.

the raidraptor letting the Harpie player resolve hysteric sign was basically the raidraptor player's demise.
I think it's more like the winner is the better pilot.
